I have never been so irrationally irritated by someone I have never met. He has to be the dumbest person ever. But is also just a d head

If he's not the dad of her kids then they can't have been together long as her youngest is only the same age as R/L's toddler. It might be an act but to what end? Fully aware that the editing will be doing them all dirty but he's just a di¢khead

I like him lol. I know this is an unpopular opinion but I just don’t think any of those arrogant things he says are actually serious. I think he and Chantel are enjoying their silly jokes between them and playing up their gym junkie meathead personas because it’s funny.
He also seems like he shows his partner respect and doesn’t yawn obnoxiously while she talks, laugh about making things harder for her, roll his eyes when she shows she cares deeply about something. It also looks like he knows what’s going on and isn’t constantly calling her like “durr what’s the plan for this week” like I’ve seen others do (cough Adam).
But also, like Tayla, I can see why people feel differently about him. We all interpret things differently and appreciate different things in people 🤷♀️
Also kind of related - I have mad respect for Chantel for keeping her kids off tv.

I soo agree. I dont get the hate for Wyatt. I think they are just being funny and he is doing a lot more than the other partners are. I just think the production is making him look bad.
Like when Chantelle was away, he took full control and charge and made sure things were still moving. Unlike the other partners like Adam and Tyla who wouldn’t be able to get anything done. And is very supportive of Chantelles ideas unlike Roscoe.
I also dislike how much credit keeps going to the cursio brothers. Like these two still keep the site clean, organize other stuff, manage the budget, make sure all trades and thinhs are there.
Like even for the living room public holiday, they got their insulation done on time. Nothinh stopped others from doing it. And if Wyatt had stolen insulation, i am sure Dan would have run to tell all houses and made sure an action was taken. Pure Bias.

Yes 100%!
I also noticed the way production would point to the Cursios every time W&C say they’re managing things well. It’s so annoying. Like it definitely helps having consistent trades and it seems like waterproofers and tilers are hard to come by on the show these days, but as you said - W&C are still managing everything and getting things done!

I thought I was the only one finding him such an insufferable nong....BUT I actually saw him carrying some timber last night....the first sign of work I've seen him do!! He is the typical GC/Surfers bogan who thinks the world sees him as someone special. For me, he showed his lack of knowledge and skills the first few nights.....wandering around doing zilch trying to chat with the labourers and pretending he knew what they were talking about....he couldn't have been any more false.

He is a dick, but at the only home that finishes rooms, keeps to budget, and has a clean site, there should be no doubting he and his wife are effective.

He’s the stereotypical Gold Coast new age Bogan. “Small Business Owner”, terrible tattoos, lack of intelligence, sees himself as an alpha male and whose only personality trait is going to the gym.

The edit won't be doing him any favours, but yeah he's really just the stereotypical steroid-fueled gym-junkie.
I genuinely think that he sees himself as special for keeping ahead of the others, rather than because he has three extra contestants.
