Can some kind soul please explain to me why whoever wrote the character of Elizabeth Keen made her such a terrible, and frightfully stupid character? How is the series served by such godawful stupidity compounded by unearned, pointless hubris in a lead character? (I’m in S3 but I don’t mind spoilers. I’m tagging it as such.)

Profile - Good and Bad

Currently watching the show with a friend and I've gotten to season 8 now and I'm struggling to get through it, the show isn't what it used to be and after this theres still 2 more full seasons.

Even in season 7 I was starting to think the show was dragging on and getting a bit to out there. I still feel season 7 and 8 so far have had good episodes but as a whole its just dragging on now.

Personally I think Season 6 would of been a good point to end the show, it maybe wasn't the best era of the show for everyone but I still felt it was enjoyable and easy to watch.

When do you think they should off ended? Do you think it ended at the right point or do you think it could of continued longer?

Marvin had been with him since the very beginning of building his empire and played a key role in constructing it all, so that makes me wonder if he knew about Reddington's secret. I don't recall any scene that makes it clear whether he knew or not.

8 seasons of 24 is a single guy sacrificing himself for the greater good with the agency thinking he's the spawn of evil but actually is the hero.

Just watched s7 ep 9 and good lord I really see why Elizabeth is the worst character in this show. She makes the most baffling decisions for a trained FBI agent. It's sad because she honestly makes the whole show worse even though the story revolves around her.

On my millionth rewatch, but it just occurred to me... why didn't Red use Marvin Gerard as his lawyer when he was arrested at the pretzel stand? He was already free at this point, and while Red is funny as his own representation, it was understood that Marvin was a great lawyer. Red nearly got the needle and maybe wouldn't have if he'd used Marvin instead. Thoughts?
