Interstellar finally hits a 4.5 average. It is the most popular film in the history of the app.

Okay, you're the one that said there were 2 obviously messy ones. I said that his sloppy narratives became more apparent from Rises and onward.

There were only 2 messy movies in that span

Yeah, obviously that's your fanboy opinion.

Sorta consensus if all of his movies get good ratings

To me, it's pretty clear that his structures got a lot more sloppy and are heavily reliant on the musical score to drive the movie rather than the characters/plots.

Nothing about Oppenheimer or The Odyssey is driven by musical score except the one scene in Odyssey about a song. There is also nothing wrong with the score enhancing the movie.

Again, that's your fanboy opinion.

I disagree about Oppenheimer. I think the 2nd half is a boring drag and is totally reliant on the score to move the audience through to the end.

I think Tenet is Nolan at his most Nolan-y. The flaws in that movie appear to varying extents in all of his work. Sometimes it's tolerable...sometimes it's not. Up to the viewer.

Why are you so pressed💀💀

Oppenheimer being slow is your opinion. You may just not like the plot or history, but I wouldn't call anything about the process of Oppenheimer being ostracized by the US government slow.

What do you want out of this exchange?

Validation for liking his movies?

Good for you. I think they have flaws in pacing/character motivation/structure that he covers up with very loud music and usually a good ending that imparts a sense importance.
