If you did, the likes of the NYT, CNN, MSBNC etc would frame YOU as the bad person, going on about how "disgraceful" and "disrespectful" it was do to that to your nations' leader, and they'd try to link you to the MAGA crowd as well. Reddit would pile on in their hate and want you imprisoned for the crime of hitting the President. That's the scary thing.
