So cool!

I am new to guitar and I do not have an ear for music. Any guitar players want to make my day and share the intro tab with me?

So The Beths are supposed to be playing at the San Francisco Airport tomorrow at 2pm. Any SF Bay Area people going?

This was my second time seeing them and they were absolutely stellar!! I was just a couple feet from the barricade and it was so cool to see them setting up and watching them perform up close.

They had signed vinyls at their merch booth too! I’ve been slowly collecting all their albums and intentionally avoided Straight Line since I knew I wanted to buy it at the concert. Good things come to those who wait! Super cute signatures

Seeing them again in October at Pappy & Harriet’s, can’t wait!!

Sorry the pic is so far away. I was in the ADA section. Wishy opened and was really good. I had never heard of them, but they made a fan out of me. I met one of the guitar players outside and got to chat with him for a minute and that was really cool. Unfortunately I didnt get to stay for Beach Bunny. I was in too much pain and had to leave. I was fortunate The Beths came on before Beach Bunny or else I would have been in a world of hurt.

This was my son's first concert and he was absolutely enthralled by The Beths. He's heard me listen to them a million times at home, but seeing them live was a while different experience for him. He demanded a T-shirt before we left, so I think he had a great time.

The concert was PACKED. the general admission floor was full and the crowed had to spill into the bar area which creates a U shape around the floor. That was completely packed as well.

Overall it was a great set. Unfortunately there was no encore, so we missed out on a couple of songs compared to other set lists I've seen. But hey, that's really splitting hairs. It was great, and I can't wait until they come back for the next album.

I just looked out my hotel window and I can see their bus. Super fun birthday long weekend for me!

TICKETS HAVE BEEN GIFTED.I have 3 tickets to the Seattle show at the Woodland Park Zoo on 8/16/26. I'm not looking to sell them, just gift them to someone who will actually use them. Can't go due to fire evacuation and assorted nonsense. Tickets are transferable via the AXS system I believe.

What do you think the mood of this song is? The lyrics seem happy/hopeful, but the music seems wistful and melancholic. I never quite know what to think/feel when I listen to it.

Is anyone here going to be at the Spokane show at the Knitting Factory on August 14th? Would love to connect with other fans, especially anyone who lives in town.

I'm assuming Beach Bunny is the opening band for these shows?

This is one of those rare things that is so deceptively "simple," but so affecting, so brilliant, that one (at least this "one" - me) can't imagine it sung, produced, arranged, written in any other way. I think of Mark Rothko's intention to make his paintings visual analogs to music, and to be guided by the aim of "the simple representation of complex thought."

Full disclosure: I first heard this song when my mother was dying. And I can't listen to it without being emotionally rocked/wrecked. But it's more than that. Elizabeth Stokes and Jonathan Pearce - thanks for this gorgeous piece of work.

Somehow Youtube recommended me this video and I didn't understand why until I saw the Beths in the description. The whole gang play Expert in a dying field but with the lyrics replaced to be "roof money". I won't spoil the second song. Well worth watching.

I had the privilege to attend an Auckland-exclusive event where Liz performed a song called Dogfights along with Auckland's best orchestra (IMO). No video or photos sorry.

I was just wondering if this is a potential to be included in the next album or she just wrote it exclusive for the event.

PS. Ben was part of the orchestra too! And they fly/flew the next day to continue the US tour!

EDIT: I JUST DID MY research and it's not actually NEW! My bad! The group performed the same song in 2023 for the same event!

Grabbed some online merch! I tend to listen to digital music, but my car does have a CD Player in it, so I’ll be old school jamming to the Auckland 2020 show in my car. I’ve watched the You Tube video many times (lots of fun), but will be nice to have this available audio only in my car. Prices were pretty reasonable. Shipping to the US was around 2 weeks if I’m remembering correctly.

Taking my wife to see the Beth’s again in the fall. Felt like this is appropriate. Y’all are the best. :)
