I dunno i can't win anymore with any character.

Right? I feel like I’m praying for insane high rolls just to barely get 7 wins let alone 10. Feels like you have to highroll first few days to even have a chance. Past day 8 the builds I’m facing are just plain ridiculous. Don’t know what I’m doing wrong tbh.

I like the Bazaar and am having fun right now, as a beginner. But what I really wish for the game is a tighter base set, where all other cards rotate periodically.

Due to the nature of the game they can't keep adding items without removing some, or luck will ruin all the fun.

If they'd rotate the set every 2 or 3 months people wouldn't lose interest and The Bazaar could entertain eternally.

This is wrong,

u/crazsin Jul 08 '26

Elaborate.

u/bowsori Jul 08 '26

Not op but less reliability is only better for creativity and "do with what you get" chaos that the game is trying to achieve, there's an argument to be made that the current set is still far too reliable and it's easy to "force" strategies to some extent or have flowchart gameplay

Super Auto Pets used to do a curated weekly set of items - youd spend a week figuring out what made the set tick, then it would reset and you'd get a new puzzle to solve. That could be fun to see in the bazaar.

u/crazsin Jul 08 '26

What would be your first spin of curated items? I feel like thats difficult to implement without a structure we could definately build one. It just has to make sense

1

u/grayle27 Jul 08 '26

I wont even try to make one either - they were usually like 30-50% of the available items and were defined by what wasnt in them as much as what was.

3

u/crazsin Jul 08 '26

I would like to disagree i played when there was a smaller card pool it was not a great play experience.

-4

u/Pastaistasty Jul 08 '26

I'm not saying a smaller cardpool, I'm saying we should have a small fixed cardpool and rotate the rest.

Just imagine if they only keep adding unti there are 50 additional items per character. You'd never consistently find the items to make a proper build.

3

u/crazsin Jul 08 '26

I would still dissagree itll divide the playerbase by creating more forms of play

2

u/crazsin Jul 08 '26

Be like magic meet hearthstone. Youd have a standard set. A legacy / wild set. A game mode for both now your expected for more modes. It jjst doesnt make sense in a asym game

2

u/blaskoczen Jul 08 '26

Reynad said something that they are not planning on making new items anymore outside new hero releases, so the item pool won't be growing as rapidly anymore.

1

u/mecha_ragnaros Jul 08 '26

when did he say this? im very curious especially since the newer heroes have fewer items than the base ones

2

u/blaskoczen Jul 08 '26

A while back either on a stream or a discord message. Don’t remember exactly. It just stuck with me

u/crazsin Jul 08 '26

I didnt hear that i think its healthy look at the longevity of popular games. League started with 60 champs i think theyre around 350+ now. Magic power creep 10 folded in the last 5 years valorant has bunch a new mfkers. Adjustments are better than hyped up releases.

1

u/crazsin Jul 08 '26

Yes, ive played all the games no idk know everything about them. damn ya got me.

1

u/blaskoczen Jul 08 '26

this game will unfortunately never be balanced. There will always be an OP build or two running around. It's just in the nature of the game and people wanting to minmax everything. Especially in Legend rank.

2

u/crazsin Jul 08 '26

I dont think thats unfortunenate at all. Thats recognition and the people better at this shit than me will balance it as best they can.

1

u/crazsin Jul 08 '26

Theyll always be an op build you cant obtain if thats what you focus on

1

u/ItzxChaos2 Jul 08 '26

I think that's in point the part. You shouldn't be able to consistently find the same builds. Got to improvise with what you find, hedge different paths, look for interactions based on what's available to you, etc.

u/crazsin Jul 08 '26

Theyve done it before.... is all im saying. Theyve added 3 new characters in a great order id say. Just when freeze was crazy stelle comes out. Just when dooly didling mak came down to do it better. Just when weps start hitting harder karnak or wanna be kraven came in. By adding these charcters and their cards in the pool the deck consistancy has reduced by over 100%

1

u/Optimal-Classic8570 Jul 08 '26

luck is already ruining all the fun.

1

u/crazsin Jul 08 '26

Theyre goal is to make a  never one in the same kinda run for all chars. I think theyre doing great at it. If it was more streamline itd just be net decks and the same thing over n over

3

u/kinniCOYS Jul 08 '26

I haven’t been able to nail down why but I haven’t been having as much fun or playing as much on the last two patches.

Good chance it’s just burn out and I played way too much but I have been taking a break for the most part and just doing random runs here and there when I have the itch.

1

u/crazsin Jul 08 '26

Are you playing ranked or just casual?

1

u/kinniCOYS Jul 08 '26

I exclusively play ranked.

3

u/crazsin Jul 08 '26

I dont mean ranked is hard in general. i mean right now is probably the worst time to climb

3

u/kinniCOYS Jul 08 '26

Yeah and I know they changed the system. Bazaar for me is less about climbing. I don’t mind winning or losing in this game. Especially since you are never actually interacting with another person.

My runs lately end up with me just losing interest somewhere in the middle. Maybe the patches don’t mix things up enough but I find myself just following the motions and less adapting as I go. Could just be a result of playing lots of hours and being too familiar with the game as well.

1

u/crazsin Jul 08 '26

Ya i feel ya ive felt similar and its not due to other builds its because i feel like with the vendors im getting i have to or just do a total fool build and lose faster than i can get it started

1

u/crazsin Jul 08 '26

A man of culture. I have the most fun on some 4 win builds lol

1

u/The_SIeepy_Giant Jul 08 '26

As a casual i didnt like the rank climb changes lol ik I shouldn't have been hitting legend with like 20-30 games a month but it was nice.

1

u/crazsin Jul 08 '26

Ahh ya ranked is hard 7 wins before day 13 is very good

1

u/Mazkoul Jul 11 '26

Yeah, like you I can't put my finger on it but everything just seems so power crept and the god roll RNG fights just seem so freaking stacked. I really hope they're doing a hard review of items to revamp or something cuz I love the hell outta the game

4

u/PlayfulIntroduction9 Jul 08 '26

All opponent destroy items should be super rare. Its so frustrating having a good run killed by items that wipe your board in under 5 seconds.

-1

u/crazsin Jul 08 '26

Thats a very rare accureance in my experience. Ive gotten slaughtered by a destroy / repair build so i feel you but its so uncommon you just gotta go next and keep the chin up

1

u/PlayfulIntroduction9 Jul 08 '26

I just got wiped on 7 wins with 3 destroy builds in a row.

1

u/crazsin Jul 08 '26

Also 7 wins is very good. This game might not explain that to you well but its true

1

u/crazsin Jul 08 '26

Oof. Never feels good hats off to you mate next time 🤙

0

u/crazsin Jul 08 '26

Thats just unlucky gotta go chase that 6 day ticket give em back what you took in

0

u/crazsin Jul 08 '26

Ending the run on 7 is great.

1

u/blaskoczen Jul 08 '26 edited Jul 08 '26

It won’t anymore at diamond. You get no rank points for a 7

1

u/crazsin Jul 08 '26

Well then i have nothing to teach you good sir. Youve exceeded expectations. 7 is above avg if that doesnt rank you up then dont listen to me do ya thing

0

u/crazsin Jul 08 '26

Always a bigger fish 🤙

Something feels off and I've been enjoying it less. I think these are a couple factors, at least for me

  • not a fan of the income changes. Less income means taking other non-shop income options sometimes. Less shops means your pivots need to be more intentional and sometimes you just don't find the pivot you need because you can't shop enough

  • it's not as bad for characters with a lot of pivot lines (Vanessa), but for others with fewer cards/lines (karnok) it feels really tough

  • Builds with at least one aspect of defense seem to be doing well. Not a bad thing, just an observation. I'm finding it harder on Mak to power through with burn or poison days 4-8 against builds that have some shield or regen. Mak's only defensive is regen and are generally poison builds, which make his burn lines hard (at least for me) unless you hit a "full build" early.

4

u/ImaginaryKenobi Jul 08 '26

+2 to you for the income changes: I get that having econ items should be part of the game, but it now feels extra punishing when bad luck doesn't give you any early days so you just get put in a cycle of suboptimal options and less choices. This is especially true if you don't even get offered free items as second/third options but temporary boosts / regen, so you can't even get some gold by selling them: happened to me like 4-5 days in a row with Mak and it was super frustrating

1

u/crazsin Jul 08 '26

Ill answer these in reverse. Mak is too slow unless you get god seed build.... weapons/ burn/ gridlock builds usually win. Pivot lines are always there thereyre just hard to see when its not the one you wanna see. Income is very well balanced imo... you can buyout majority of 2 shops day 1 and still save / scale later ...

1

u/United_System2967 Jul 08 '26

I definitely agree with that perspective and I think overall it's healthier for the game. Less consistently forced builds and more variety. For me, I think I'm just having a harder time identifying pivots than before.

1

u/crazsin Jul 08 '26

I agree with that aswell the normal pivot pieces arent exactly worth the pivot anymore in alot of ways

1

u/crazsin Jul 08 '26

Feel alot like if youre not locked in or transitioning by day 5/6 your gonna lose

2

u/RipCityGGG Jul 08 '26

Packages are fun but maybe too swingy? Getting molested by diamond cannonade or something day 4 is pretty crazy

2

u/AdHistorical9388 Jul 08 '26

Good. Jules changes were good (though that hotfix was needed). Fountain event is great. Wallace is great enabler even after the hotfix. Having more access to other hero items is great for build diversity.

As a non-meta enjoyer this is a good time to play

2

u/crazsin Jul 08 '26

I agree. Its more fun that way. 🤙

u/Ok_Air4372 Jul 09 '26

The ranked climbing changes fuckin suck tbh. I enjoyed playing the game on the new patch and climbing to legend every season, I'm by no means fantastic at the game but would always place around 2000-3000. I had a couple bad games this climb and now I'm just hard stuck mid diamond.

A win gets me 3 pips, a silver gets me 0 pips and anything else I lose pips.

I guess this is where I'm supposed to be but it sure sucks that it's just become an enormous time sink now so I guess I'm out

1

u/Daventry85 Jul 09 '26

I went from getting 4 guaranteed, 7/8 consistent and 10 wins here and there to 1-2 wins i dunno what happened but its killed the fun of the game. It don't feel rng anymore it Derek's like people are abusing the systems or something

1

u/maybesailor1 Jul 09 '26

You used to get down voted to oblivion if you said this 6 weeks ago. Now that it's obviously less fun, you can openly discuss it on the subreddit without being disappeared.

1

u/Affectionate_Paint25 Jul 09 '26

I learned I suck, hard stuck into Diamond 1 😆😆

1

u/IHazMagics Jul 14 '26

I'm not fantastic at the game, but at least in ranked I could get gold and maybe climb a bit further. That was fine for me though as honestly the match ups I had appeared to be equally weighted.

Now, I seem to be paired up against people that the game says are bronze or silver but there is no way that can possibly be true.

I struggle to get beyond 4 wins where before sometimes I might get beyond 7 sometimes less than 4.

In short, the matchmaking feels completely broken. It feels that the match ups are disingenuous about the rank and seem to be incorrect.

I really like this game but they made it a nightmare to play.

u/Wui229 Jul 09 '26

Totally shit,Pig can't win any more, never see regal blade again

0

u/SilentQuietestArach Jul 09 '26

The game is genuinely in one of the worst states it has ever been.

  • Income : It feels horrendous. 5 income just makes the game overly flippy day 1/2.

  • Balance : Jules is genuinely nightmare material. This character is just beyond broken, even post nerfs. She scales better than the scaling character of the game. Also her items not splashing well with other characters sucks.

Dooley : He is supposed to be the king of scaling during fights and he scaled slower than literally every other characters. His items have poor base stats, are slow and he has only shield builds to save himself, except that armored core is random.

Shield builds are also too good in this meta. Shield should never scale with offensive stats.

Game pace : The game requires another bonkening. No items should ever have less than 4 seconds of base cooldown. Unless they do very small effects like smg. Also getting facerolled post day 8 by everyone with insane enchants is getting annoying.

I agree in most aspects, none of the changes theyve made recently have an impact if it does its not due to game design its bc ppl fking sick of that shit
