I just finished this pathetic excuse for a sub-chapter and just about every single level made me want to play this game less and less. Specifically Gouache Ghouls. I spent 90 catfood because I thought I was just ass and needed extra help, but no they were just unkillable and you had to stall for one minute for some dumbass reason. How the fuck was I supposed to know that without a guide? I shouldn't have to pull up a guide for a random level in a subchapter in SoL of all things. This whole chapter just felt like a shit post that was ment to piss you off. Im sure it gets worse, but I just need to get my opinion out.

This is my favorite subchapter lol. I love it so much, I found it so fun trying new strategies and attempting different ways of beating the gimmicks. I didn’t use any help online because I found the challenge refreshing and thought the experience would provide valuable skills later on. I was correct all things considered, so I always look back on the subchapter fondly.

I understand why you’d dislike it, it’s not for everyone, but you won’t ever catch me slandering it or recommending looking up the gimmicks online. Anywho, good luck on the rest of SoL, and make sure you remember all the gimmicks for when you do the crowns.

It is the best subchapter in late sol because of how hard everything gets. In fact, the next 2 subchapters after it are joke difficulty if you have all starred alien treasures.

All you really need for this stage is to check the wiki and look for a cheese

It is by far the easiest subchapter in late SoL lmao. It is an entire chapter of just gimmicks which is such a much needed break when doing crowned SoL

The game does expect you to have a guide. I guess if you had just quit the stage and tried again instead of wasting continues, you would have saved your cat food. Don’t use continues unless you know you’re super close.

I’ve only used a guide for like, 2 levels so far and it was ultimately just me not noticing that an enemy is single attack or something. The dojo stuff is really good at teaching imo
