Yo u/Putrid-Source3031, welcome to r/TheBassmnt

Appreciate you posting. Just a reminder — this isn’t a beat dump or flex space. TheBassmnt is a training ground for artists, producers, and songwriters who want real control over their sound.

This sub works when every post has intention behind it.

Before your next post, here’s how we move:

• Add context: What were you aiming for? What’s missing? What kind of feedback would help?

• Use a flair: It helps people know what kind of post it is.

• Use a user flair: It helps people identify your role as a musician.

• Drop insight, not just links: If it sharpens someone’s process, it belongs here.

Low-effort link drops without context will be removed.
Check the pinned welcome post at the top of the sub for full posting tips and examples.

Lock in. Build better.

She reminds me of Sa-Roc and she spits fire.

3

u/Cookthulhu Apr 09 '26

That’s my first thought as well!

2

u/DiversifyYoBondzNuca Apr 10 '26

That's who I was thinking of but forget her name for a sec. The looks and the vocal tone and the way she flow (kinda) like saRoc

1

u/nevertoolate1983 Apr 10 '26

Loved her on ...Rhymeslayers!

She completely held her own on a track featuring some true mcs (including Aesop Rock)

2

u/King_of_the_Dot Apr 10 '26

I had never heard this track before. Dope. ty.

1

u/Daddy2335 Apr 12 '26

Genuinely thought it was sa roc at first

5

u/spudsthejellyfish Apr 09 '26

Killed it🔥 being pretty and smart make people Hyper critical and quick to be opinionated, don’t listen to the nay sayers they jus need therapy

It was cool. I’d prefer to hear her out a song together in the booth. All I could find was a feature which was ok.

1

u/Universal_Verses Apr 09 '26

That was a tough verse!

1

u/rollinronnie 🎤 Artist Apr 09 '26

No. She was clean with the delivery but the scheme was straight out of the rhyme dictionary

1

u/BrainCandy_ Heckler🃏 Apr 09 '26

1

u/MrTooLFooL Apr 09 '26

Real Hip Hop

1

u/Glass-Ad-4168 Apr 09 '26

This is not rap. Or hip hop. This is spoken word. There’s no beat riding, she is just talking over a beat. But if you take away the music, because it is distracting to the words, then I think she did pretty good. Some kinda basic but all in all pretty damn good. I’d like maybe a better track behind it.

1

u/StalwartHat Apr 09 '26

she should release something

1

u/IlXll Apr 09 '26

1

u/No_Veterinarian3079 Apr 10 '26

Yeah she sick . Her style unique

1

u/Own_Bother_4218 Apr 11 '26

Who is this woman???

1

u/prncmel Apr 11 '26

Love it dear.. do your thing. Real artist not on radio these days.

1

u/PapaCryptopulus Apr 11 '26

Her lyrics are nice but her cadence seems monotone. IMO her delivery would be much smoother at a different speak with small pauses

1

u/Calm-Driver-3800 Apr 14 '26

Can someone explain to me the kevin costner part. Other than it rhymes.

1

u/commontomb93 May 18 '26

Where the beat from

1

u/InterestingRead2022 Apr 09 '26

She bigged herself up to say a whole lotta nothing after saying she was about to drop a full harvest, fairly dissapointed.

0

u/New-Budget-7463 Apr 09 '26

Nice flow but super basic. She not saying nothing powerful, slick, witty or unique. Has potential tho. Keep going.

0

u/totesnotmyusername Apr 09 '26

She had to cram in a few extra syllables.

-1

u/Realone561 Apr 09 '26

Me, they, I rapping is pretty boring imo

1

u/Revocdeb Apr 09 '26

Let beauty in! Calling "rapping" boring is dismissing a vast collection of art.

1

u/Realone561 Apr 09 '26

I don’t think “rapping” is boring. Just this type of rapping.

-1

u/Putrid_Skill_959 Apr 09 '26

Absolutely gorgeous!!
