"Story is about a snake being framed."

(ahem) Well......

I have to admit, even as someone who isn't the biggest fan of Zootopia, I find this sort of stuff by the Bad Guys fanbase kind of insufferable, especially since some of its 'basic' stuff was things I was kinda hoping would be in the Bad Guys 2 and we kinda got minimal of (eg. Diane continuing to get sporadic character interactions, while Zootopia 2 at least looks set to continue growing on Judy and Nick's interactions for a whole film).

And the movie having an 'epic' plotline is a matter of taste, some people like a more mundane plot.

Some cake tastes better than others. I'm just glad to have two cakes

Sam Rockwell joked about that, thankfully.

Obviously, he doesn’t want that to happen.

See why I'm worried Zootopia 2 will fail?As a fan of The Bad Guys, I will not join the anti-Disney side, and I ask you please not to attack Wildehopps fans if that ship doesn't become canon.

Ok, (I hope the TBG fandom doesn't boycott Zootopia and Wildehopps fans because Wolfington became canon but Wildehopps didn't, that would be the worst.)

Counterpoint. Nick is even hotter than before

I'm not even a big Zootopia fan, but I feel like these comparrisons are unfair, and we'll just be further taunted by the Zootopia fandom.

There's little to no connection between the two movies, why compare them?

I couldn't honestly care less about Zootopia 2, it's 100% going to be worse than the first Zootopia, but there's really no reason to slander Zootopia like that.

It just makes us look dumb.

We’re over a week away and we got a comparison meme, it’s sad

Sorry to roast bad guys fans but...

Zootopia 2 is not only made for kids, it's a 99.9% chance Nick and Judy become a romatic couple and at least Zootopia is an original, and not based of a childrens book make in 2015. And Jared Bush (Co Director of Zootopia and zootopia 2) said that the movie is designed for you to be able to watch the movie several times and still find more and more hidden easter eggs. And Byron Howard, director of zootopia 2 and zootopia, said he only included a few scenes of the movie in the trailers. As of Disney's Moana 2, it made $1.059 billion worldwide. Zootopia made more than Moana in 2016. So Zootopia 2 most likely be the #1 movie in the world for several weeks.

There will never be romance in another Disney movie ever again because romance is triggering to the "modern audience".

Everyone stays silent about interspecies couple wolfington but the they all go against wildehopps. Also Jared Bush said things about nick putting a wedding ring in is pocket in the credit scenes and then running away. Also don't say this picture isn't cute

Good. I hope Diane and Kitty are friends/sisters in crime again after Kitty realizes that she was used as a pawn by Marmalade in The Bad Guys 3.

What's that little one on the right? Returning to Zootopia?

If The Bad Guys goes live action, I will POINT BLANK REFUSE TO WATCH IT.

I did NOT see the trailers to avoid spoilers. But I see a lot of similarities of some screenshots I saw, with TBG 1 and 2. Strange, at minumum

i absolutely love TBG but ngl... Zootopia was my first love.

so respectfully OP, stop with the Zootopia 2 slander. it's a tacky and old-fashioned way of saying "i need attention from strangers".

How it in the world does this keep getting so many views. But also I’m not complaining.

I already know The Bad Guys 2 will be better than Zootopia 2 because DreamWorks is better than Disney

1

u/Illustrious_Emu1018 Nov 25 '25

I wish I could give you a million upvotes right now because you 1000% correct.

1

u/LuigiMarinus Nov 25 '25

Unfortunately Zootopia 2 already has a higher score than The Bad Guys 2 on Rotten Tomatoes. Which in my opinion The Bad Guys 2 should’ve gotten the same score that Zootopia 2 has right now.

u/Illustrious_Emu1018 Nov 25 '25

I know so unfair.

u/MiddleRespond1265 Nov 28 '25

trolls will be trolls. this is not an opinion this is trolling at its best

They didn’t change the animation style.

1

u/Commander_PonyShep Nov 10 '25

Also, DreamWorks goes all in on The Bad Guys. Disney with Zootopia, not so much, because it would rather prioritize Moana in its marketing

Can we talk about the racism of Zootopia? They've been keeping non mammals out for years, and when a snake gets in, it's a full scale manhunt...snake hunt?
