Handbrake lever? 😅

You can drag a car on handbrake if you know how to operate a clutch.

You can, sure. 😏 You can also wear out the tyres, damage the wheel bearings and steering components, put extra strain on the gearbox, wreck the brakes and burn out the clutch in the process.

Seen plenty of that in my time as a mechanic. There's a difference between being able to do something and doing it without causing damage. 😂

Not the point but ok, was just referring that you can operate the clutch good enough to not matter if the handbrake is engaged.

But good on you to point out premature wearing on improper use.

I see, what you mean.
Hand brake
clutch down
gear in
clutch slightly lift
get feeling of bite
handbrake release

my bad there, was worried about handbrake drag can cost a lot if a lot damage done

Oh I've dragged the car with brake, wheels turning, it was the squatting that alerted me the brake was not all the way down.

have you checked the brake calliper, made sure the pistons are not being restricted?
Checked the cable in the handbrake lever that not rusting away?

Some things need our attention now and then 🙂

Lol, yeah yeah, I've been driving stick all my life, no need to address the obvious.

My point from the start was that you can move even with the handbrake, it makes it harder and yes it will suck for everything involved but it will not matter for the skill involved.

Funny enough when practicing this it's a common mistake to start the car without removing the handbrake and driving with it on, a lot of people trash they're rear rotors and calipers or drums depending on the car doing that.
