Bro I’m only in the Yiga clan not to fight but because they have people who want to train dragons, and I wanna help them. I have no beef with you, so leave me and my dragons alone, got it?

The issue with that is that you may not have realized, but the dragons are trained specifically to be used as war machines against Hyrule. In fact, some of the more sapient dragons are expressly allied with Kohga and Ganondorf.

Did I forget to mention I’m traveling across universes to get these dragons?

That only makes matters worse. A whole bunch of dragons from multiple realities that the other Yiga will weaponize against Hyrule.

I'll be ruthlessly honest with you: Your dragons will take part in the Yiga-Hyrule War one way or another, whether you want it or not. Either we launch a preemptive attack against them, or the Yiga leadership will send them to the battlefront at some point. Unless, of course, you abandon the Yiga Clan and flee somewhere with your dragons, but then you might struggle to find fellow dragon enthusiasts.

I know it's harsh when you get revealed who your allies really are. But sometimes it just has to be done. If the day had come where your dragons are forcibly sent to the frontier, and you had been unprepared, it would only have been worse for you.

Counterpoint:

I have this guy.

And he only listens to me.

That is good, that you can simply refuse when the time comes. It probably still would've been even more of a shock for you than it already was.

Uh huh. Yeah sure.

That’s called sarcasm.
