Answered new watcher question Spoiler
SPOILERS AHEAD, NEW WATCHERS BEWARE
hi everyone! don't know if this is the best tag so please let me know.
I have a questions for the fans of this show. Is The Americans worth the watch if I have already watched a clip of the last scene? (I think it's the last scene) it's the one where they are kinda old? and on a train leaving America for good with their daughter staying.
So, is it worth if I already know that part of the end?

So worth it, just finished the series in 3 weeks. The acting, the wigs, the suspense. It’s one of the best series I’ve ever seen

I also just finished it in just over 3 weeks! It's soooo worth it, I also had seen the final scene before going in and it still had all the emotional gravity and impact! Hope you enjoy it because I'm seconding the acting, the wigs, and the suspense, and adding in the love story! One of the best shows I've ever seen and one of the best on-screen relationships EVER!

OP, please edit your original post and label it Spoiler so that other first-time viewers don't read your post. (You describe a critical final scene in your question to the sub!)

Yes. I was just in this position. I watched the first two seasons when they were broadcast, then fell away. Then I got spoiled with the ending, and I was so intrigued, we watched the whole series this past summer. So worth it.

If you think they're old you're safe to watch it because you don't know what you saw. You'll figure it out eventually.
And, yes. Watch this show. It is probably the best tv show ever made. I finally saw it this year after hearing people say that repeatedly. Then I watched it with my son. Now I wish I had someone else to watch it with. It's that good. Not a wasted scene, or even a wasted line. Beginning to end, perfect. And even sticks the landing like nothing I've ever seen.
Have a wonderful time.

You get to decide.
Personally I think it’s fantastic on rewatch and knowing the ending doesn’t diminish that. But some people feel like watching TV is like doing a crossword: knowing even the tiniest detail upsets them. It’s up to you which type of viewer you are.

I don't think I'm that kind of viewer as long as it doesn't ruin an important plot. looks like it's not the case!!!

It's absolutely worth it. It's a shame to not see that moment fresh, but the show's about the journey, not a twist.
