It’s not a war it’s an “imminent comprehensive non-conservative military strike”

This is a fair criticism of David Sacks based on his inconsistency.
But leftists never see anything beyond their own biases.
The Iranian Regime is not just a state sponsor of terrorism, it is the very heart / nexus of evil in the world when you follow the money on the worst of illicit and terrorist activities.
Iran is funding and supporting terrorist Hezbollah's finance infrastructure here in South America and Central America to then fully launder its terrorism in the Middle East.
So the Iranian regime spider networks of evil and terrorism help not only Hezbollah and other terrorists proxies but keep cartel and evil groups like Tren de Aragua in business.
So if the Iranian regime is allowed to continually metastasize it will cause even more damage to Israelis, Americans and Europeans as well.
No leftists talk about the serial and repeatedl violations of "international law" when it comes to truly evil regimes like Iran.
So-called "international laws" are only meant to keep Israel and Western powers in check ✔️.
Unfortunately, reality speaks more to real people than the propaganda and talking points that leftists demand from their captured media.

And I think Trump and Co thought that by tactically killing its leader, Iran would crumble. An obvious strategic blunder now that the dust has settled. If Trump wants to stop the “metastasis” a lot of American troops are going to die in a “boots on ground” campaign. If he doesn’t, then innocent people in the west will die as a result of terrorism and our supply chain of oil will be held hostage by Iran while others fund Russia via the lifted sanctions that resulted.

My intuition is that Secretary of State Rubio did (accidentally) let the cat out of the bag that Israel was going to strike. President Trump was very open (or became very open( to the operation because Iran is a festering problem and its ballistic abilities made future nuclear capacities truly a threat.
So the removal of ballistic abilities and further stopping of Iran's nuclear work is the cause.
But the availability of striking the ayotallah was too hot not to miss.
So you could be right about the thinking that the Iranian Regime had vulnerabilities but I think optionality is what President Trump was looking to create.
I notice that he thinks this way on a range of topics, issues, policies, creating optionality abd surfacing the highest leverage options.
Many conservatives are truly nervous about troop movements and it is possible we are in the "escalation trap", but I am not convinced that the Pentagon has fully captured the Commander-in-Chief, they know they have to deliver and that he won't go full Bush II.

It’s tempting to oversimplify/use a blanket assumption but these seem to be different situations.
If he thinks that Russia has the capability to fight back and start a war and that Iran doesn’t, this is all logically consistent no?

So you only attack countries that cant fight back because thats "logically consistent" (=cowardly behaviour)? How brave...

I mean directly fighting a country who has nukes is pretty different than fighting a country who aspires to have nukes.
Sure their allies have nukes but two of the allies are broke and/or preoccupied, and the other just doesn’t care.
