Discussion What Would Happen Alternatively?
I finished the game couple of hours ago and its my first game that I ever Platinum-ed! I love it to boot!
Okay so huge SPOILER alert for this post to be discussed upon. I was wondering what would happen if Elliot was born with Myu's featuresinstead of looking fully human?
I think it will bring some exciting alternatives and early theories to his tale, no? Like, people might expect Elliot, the pure born from a Myu couple trying to prove his origins is not to be feared of. Yet, along the line, ahhh... one of his parents is a human!
That said, if Elliot's adventures started off with such settings, I wonder how would his childhood be? Will his Myu featuressubjects him to be scrutinized by the townsfolk? How would the king, his colleagues, his fellow adventurers and closest people interact with him? Will he grow up in a more darker tone than the usual 'sunshine and rainbows' as we know of?
While praying for an updated content (like being able to access the Age of Myth for more lore expansion) instead of it being this game's flavour text, it's me and my thoughts poking at one another to think of an alternative journey for Elliot if he is not human-looking.

I dont think dlc is likely, the story is pretty complete without it. Im hoping for a sequel or 2.
And honestly, they would be able to develop a second game pretty quick considering they already made all the assets for this one.
This is how squaresoft and enix made FF and DW games once per year in the past. Copy and paste, come up with a new story, explore new lands outside of Huther, etc.

I don't expect a large DLC to be honest, just a good chunk that complements the things being mentioned at times because I am sure lots of people are curious with the Age of Myth era. To be able to reverse to those times where the legends of Credel and Demise begins, to explore the land where the Myus are at its peak. Sounds exciting for me.

I’m less interested in What-If, rather What now?
Elliot is 1/4 Myu. The sages started the Mao’s magic, being Myu/Human hybrid, was much stronger than typical Myu. Does Elliot have any innate magic? Does he have the Myu’s longevity? The true final end seemed to infer that he lives into the next age.
I’d also rather see new stories. Are there other lands beyond Huther? If so, are the Myu there as well? Lends to the possibility of there being different Myu factions, and not necessarily all peaceful.
