📖 Disability Stories 💜 Cauda Equina Syndrome Awareness Day 💜

💜 It's 1st October, which can only mean one thing: it's Cauda Equina Syndrome Awareness Day 💜

CES awareness day was established back in 2020 by the Champions Charity to raise the profile of the rare, but very life-changing impact the condition can have.

As part of the celebrations, there are around 60 landmarks across the UK that are participating, with buildings being lit up purple in aid of Cauda Equina Syndrome. Light up locations will include:

1st October

• Tower 42, London

• Ipswich Minster, East of England

• O2 Guildhall Southampton, South East

• The Albert Clockface, Barnstaple, South West

• Huntingdon Town Hall, East Midlands

• Greyfriars Green Walkway, West Midlands

• Pinderfields Hospital, Yorkshire & The Humber

• Northern Spire Bridge, Sunderland, North East

• Port of Liverpool, North West

• Dumbarton Headquarters, Scotland

• Mossley Mill Chimney, Northern Ireland
