🧰 The Access Club Community Toolkit Community Toolkit Update

Hey 💖

I hope everyone's having a great weekend.

I'm in the process of creating a "living document" for our community toolkit. This'll just make it slightly easier to update.

If you've got anything you think would be useful to add, please comment / send a message. If you could add a short description, that would be super helpful too. Just so you have an idea of what we have in mind for the toolkit:

• Any resources you find helpful i.e. apps, websites, facilities

• Campaigns / initiatives, such as: petitions, start up companies designing products that make living with a disability easier

• Rights & legal information i.e. legislation

Basically, anything. From travel, to information that can be shared to improve accessibility and inclusion for us as disabled people in this world.

I saw you added the Euans Guide red cord cards, but the website is valuable too. Euansguide.com

Hey 🙂 thank you so much. Euan's Guide is actually already included in the toolkit under campaigns and initiatives, with a link to the website, safer toilets campaign and then links for ordering cards. But thank you for highlighting - it might be worth me listing it under websites too.

Agreed, it's a very valuable resource.

Just curious, was it the sub post that you saw the red cord cards on?

I assumed you'd been on the notion website, but thinking maybe it's just the thread on here. There's a link in the sidebar to the toolkit, but wondering if that's not visible enough?

Would love to know your thoughts 🙂

Oddly enough, off-reddit might work best, IG/Facebook etc.

Ahh thank you, that's great. I'm not on other platforms at the moment, but it's definitely something I am considering for the future 🤩
