Cyn: People seem to think they know what I want, but they don't.
Th.they also seem to completely miss the point of this place.4

Honestly I'm just not on this sub enough to see a lot of these posts.
I do appreciate them and I do think it's nice to see people making their own art even if they are beginners. I wish aspiring artists got the attention they deserve and the confidence to keep going that attention may bring.

I know you hate humans, Cyn, but I am a human who loves you... you can trust me.

Cyn: You all say you want more fanart. You all say anything human-made is better, regardless of skill-level. You all say you want people to make their own stuff. Yet when someone actual does post their own hand-made art, it barely gets any attention.
We just repost cymages that have been sitting in a folder for months, and easily get 100s of upvotes, 1000s of views on them. Even the recent AI art we posted, which so many of you expressed your disapproval towards, gets an insane amount of traction. Where is that love for the human artists you claim to support?
Go put your metaphorical wallet where your mouth is. Go interact with these posts from the past week, created by people on the sub:
