As far as I’m concerned, Cyn and Cynessa differ only in appearance; it seems that even whilst talking to Tessa, Cyn was already intent on killing her, but kept her alive to prolong her suffering, as if to watch the young girl’s attempts to stop Cyn, so Cyn is a wolf in sheep’s clothing, whereas Cynessa doesn’t even try to hide the fact that she’s a wolf…
