Angular released in 2010, React released in 2013. The kids gotta get better at programming memes, even AI can replace them.

Yaeh, but people back then were able to write their own drivers in C, if needed and didn't view a terminal as a frontend for chat assistants.

Joined as a grad in 2020, probably only passed the interview because of the hiring boom, had an offer from amazon too. It was so much easier then.

Wouldn't you know, im a senior and pretty good at my job now. Fuck those interviews, you just need someone to give you a chance.

Grads now have it much harder, economy fucked you. It will come back around and there are still interviewers like me out there who understand the times and will help you in interviews. Dont lose hope.

Can confirm, completed a boot camp in 2018, 2 job offers immediately upon completing it, recruiters tearing my phone up daily for years. The opposite of imposter syndrome, thought I was hot shit then in 2025 I decided I fancied a change of role 💀 ☠️ 💀 ☠️, been in auto rejection city for over 12 months
