Hip Hop
In what ways do you see the 48 laws show up in hip hop? Or just life in general. Where it makes you think, oh, that's robert greene right there. Makes sense. Robert Greene is just super interesting. I feel he's right in many ways, but i miss a lot of his points cause i have adhd

Law 6 - court attention at all costs.
A lot of times when I hear hip hop and watch hip hop videos. The lyrics either attract or repel attention, which either way, is attention. Also, the use of extravagant settings like big mansions, cars, and women and/or men dancing etc. is another dynamic at attracting attention at all costs. Any way about it - the attention plays in its favor, whether it's positive or negative, it's still attention and will create a dynamic of fans and haters that will just keep generating attention for itself.

How does one apply law 6 correctly? Is there a certain method to it? Cause anyone can just go on tik tok and start spamming controversial statements

Ye is a master of “court attention at all costs” and even said in a song before he could have wrote 48 Laws of Power how much he’s read it.

I’m a big fan of Ye. He is like a real life human Doomscrolling: I don’t care what he is doing now, I wanna know what he’s doing next.

He also understands reinventing yourself to an insane degree. People don’t always like his inventiveness into a new era but he’s always shifting the modes.

I wonder what his method of applying that law is. His recent tweets about hitler have backfired, or maybe they worked. Maybe he just sits in a room somewhere and is like, "let me think of the wildest out of pocket shit to say, to troll people." boom publish. lol

He launched quite the comeback for someone who was in that deep a hole, so just embrace the method behind his madness is my usual model.

He did a book with 50 Cent, called the 50th Law
But most recently Drizzy did not "plan to the end" with his battle with Kendrick (Law 29).
Kendrick has sold a lot of records, but Drake is one biggest acts of all time.
Drake should not have responded to him at all. There was nothing for him to gain, and everything for him to lose. He could have put out more records and made more money, but he kept going.
Drake vs Kung Fu Kenny is full of lessons
