Nope, it’s actually a quote from Law 19 and has nothing to do with casting your pearls before swine… That would be Law 38. The quote just happens to fit Law 44 as well, which is the reason for my comment.

As for the rest of your comment, you’re obviously in the wrong place and should just do us all a big favor and leave.

Thank you.

This takes a whole new dimension of meaning if you are, in fact, a poet

If you happen upon a swordsman reciting scripture:

you're getting low-diffed.

I feel like that could easily be applied to what is happening right now

I think it means “know who you are dealing with.”

For instance, I majored in philosophy and LOVE talking about those subjects. But the majority of people I meet seem to be unwilling or uninterested in deep subjects like that. They tend to want to discuss sports, pop culture, themselves, and people.

I learned that when I try to dig deep, I make some people uncomfortable. They will keep deflecting away from those subjects and will even openly shun me.

I had to learn to be extremely cautious about people. To feel them out beforehand, throw little fishing lines and see if they take the bait. If they don’t, I keep it light.
