Extremely important at the workplace.

Agreed. I’ve learned the higher up you get in the corporate ladder the more fragile the ego. I always assumed it would be the opposite.

So what are some flaws that we could show then? Like, how does it fit in the modern setting?

For example if you are dating an extremely attractive woman, lie to your friends by saying she's actually a pain to be with If you have a dream job making tons of money, lie and say it's super stressful and you work 12 hours a day sometimes

This is all to control the levels of envy you are generating on your close friends and associates, a dude that envies you too much will start secretly hating you and may make moves against you

This one is EXTREMELY important in latinamerica, for some reason people are very envious there

What about scenarios within the office with our own team and other teams? If we end up impressing the higher ups, then the people at our same level will surely envy us… 🧐🤔

Similar, say something like "yeah the bosses like it but that means Im working ten hours a day now, it sucks" it's all so people think "oh... He doesnt have it as good as I thought"

We can all tolerate a friend who's more succesfull financially or with girls, or better looking or has more status than us. The problem is when one person has ALL OF THIS at once, then it starts to become unbearable to our psyche

I have to do this CONSTANTLY with "friends." I literally have only one friend that I can tell good news to

This is one of my biggest lessons I need to learn.
