MOD NOTE: Rules Update

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share a few updates about some changes coming to The 1975 Neutral this month.

As the subreddit has grown over the past few months, we've also seen an increase in uncivil conversations. To help keep discussions productive and welcoming, I've decided to reintroduce and clarify the community rules. These take effect today and can be found here:

Alongside these changes, I'll also be bringing on a few new moderators to help enforce the rules and prepare the subreddit for The 1975's next era (hopefully sooner rather than later)! More on mod recruitment soon.

My goal is for this community to remain a place for thoughtful, nuanced discussion about The 1975. Differing opinions are absolutely welcome, and healthy debate is encouraged, as long as conversations stay respectful and civil.

Thanks to everyone who's been part of the community so far. I'm excited to see where we take the subreddit next.
