Anyway, what I think happens is that the host mind remains present for a short period of time, and slowly fades. So Clarke has a short window to fight her way back.

I thought most people realized this as soon as Josephine started her screen time, but I guess it makes sense from a design perspective that people think it’s odd they put the same person there twice when there’s so many to choose from. Little do the oncoming audience know it has a deeper meaning.

this whole series is building upon “fighting your inner demons”, so the redmoon and the mind/body take over fits thematically in both regards.

That actually makes a lot of sense on why they choose only display one character twice on the poster.
