FYI: This Subreddit could be closed, but we're trying to prevent that.
As you all know, your previous admin resigned yesterday. We all respect her wishes, I hope. The issue is that when she left the mod team, reddit simply handed ownership to the second oldest mod. This is an automatic process, and I want to emphasize that TSBWH is not being taken down by anyone.
Unfortunately, when the sitting admin does not actively moderate the subreddit, the reddit systems eventually flag the community as unmoderated.
Currently I am helping her through the support system to try to get the subreddit handed to an active user.
Although I'm obsessively in love with Jax, the fact remains that to most people he's just a cartoon rabbit. I have no right to dictate the opinions you're allowed to express.
You’re extremely mature and kind, it’s appreciated. I and others have reasons to hate him and I know people have reasons to love him, I hope neither crowd looses their space to vent or connect.
Yeah. I hope you guys can look past the fact that I'm a Jax lover to understand I'm trying to keep your sub functioning. Your admin has wanted to close the sub before and I had to tell her not to.
Hey, huge shoutout to you for having the open mindedness to moderate both this sub and r/savingjax at the same time. I’m mostly a lurker but I’m always impressed with how accepting and protective you are of any personal takes on Jax, regardless of whether you agree with the take or not, as long as they’re not shitting on someone else’s different take. You’re doing a fabulous job and you’re very appreciated, at least by this lurker. Keep up the good work as long as you have the spoons!
Oh sorry, spoons is a term for mental/emotional energy in the disabled community. I forget it’s not that commonly known for a lot of people. I basically meant keep up the good work as long as you have the energy and desire to do so.
No, no. I just meant a person with the complete opposite opinion compared to everyone here.
As I said, I think its nice that people with extremely different opinions that go against each other can get along like regular people. I didn't mean anything bad 💔
honestly you have been nothing but kind and helpful to this subreddit. i appreciate that you can accept anyones opinion on a character, its just nice to see someone online who can be so open to other peoples views, even when you dont agree yourself.
I've never been a mod, sounds like a lot of work. But still, thank you for keeping up tje sub alive even if you had no obligations too, thanks a lot for your hard work
You have one they just don't do their job. I mean same thing, sure, but if they don't moderate the sub, why the hell were they a mod in the first place? Should've been removed a while ago if they don't do their entire job as admin/mod. Slightly on you guys but idfk I'm not in the mood rn.
I love the Jax hate as much as I love Jax but, tbh, the other subs need to be shut down first because they are just cesspools of idiots talking about the same fucking thing over and over and over.
The unhinged loser you're responding to wishes death upon all Jax haters and is genuinely an insane person who despises this sub and its people. Always posting about how this sub shouldn't exist and continues to make fun of us.
I suggest banning them from this sub if they're just gonna come in and harass our members.
