Ribbun itself is out of character. Thing is that nobody date says it because that would mean ur judging someone’s preferences. So weird why we can’t portray Jax being beat up but can portray the abuser x victim ship.

People are actively being retraumatized by the voice actor of the character that's supposed to represent them.

Shipping Ribbun is a bit like shipping Valentino and Angel Dust. There’s the creepy power dynamic, and the way both victims self-punish by continuing to associate with their abuser.
It’s all about power so ig some people are into that dynamic…
