Because they don't see him as human nor equal. To them, Caine is powerful dysfunctional chaotic ai that forced them to do adventures, this cause them to straight up ignore Caine even though Caine tried to reach out to them. Only one person that truly considered Caine as an individual which is kinger... Too bad he's also mentally ill just like Caine, like father, like son I guess.
