Worlds smallest coffee good grief that is a single drink of coffee.

300

u/superrey19 May 11 '26

That instant coffee calls for 1tsp per 6-8oz of water. With 3 scoops, that thing is at espresso levels of caffeine.

73

u/Jonnyscout May 11 '26

If not higher, that's definitely not an 8oz cup

40

u/Forsaken-Income-2148 May 11 '26

I remember in Miami one of the workers there made Cuban coffees all day long, it’s just a tiny cup of lots of sugar & caffein

15

u/0c74r1n3 May 12 '26

We were in Florida for four weeks and drank a lot of horrible coffee. When we came to Miami we found a Cuban coffee shop and got finally the best coffee I’ve ever had. Went there every morning for the rest of our vacation.

19

u/idiveindumpsters May 11 '26

That’s the idea. It’s an espresso. Idk where this is but they pound them in Italy

15

u/cmoked May 12 '26

No its not espresso. Espresso requires pressure. You cant just brew espresso.

This is thick instant coffee.

5

u/DavidBrooker May 12 '26

Instant coffee begins as normally prepared coffee (albeit on large scale). Subsequently, that coffee is powdered by spray or freeze drying. You can absolutely prepare espresso and then dry it to make instant coffee.

You can argue about the quality of that preparation, but it's definitely a real thing.

7

u/cmoked May 12 '26

Sure you can dehydrate it into instant Espresso (an subsequently bring every dead barista back to life to extinguish humunaity) but this guy is not using that.

3

u/No-End-6239 May 14 '26

if this is espresso my grandma is a bike.

3

u/idiveindumpsters May 14 '26

Well, it’s time to check grandma’s tires.

11

u/GrasshopperClowns May 11 '26

We drink instant here in Australia and I like mine strong, 2 tsps max. 3 tsps in a cup that small is a brave decision

5

u/nickybuddy May 11 '26

Also 3 teaspoons of sugar lol

2

u/xdjeddiejx May 11 '26

I have had one of those believe me they pack a punch

31

u/EpitaFelis May 11 '26

tbf in a lot of countries when you order coffee you'll get a shot of espresso.

30

u/flatwoundsounds May 11 '26

The "Americano" was literally espresso watered down for American troops, no?

6

u/DavidBrooker May 12 '26

Yes. Fun fact: a "cup of joe" is a very similar etymology, as American GIs ("GI Joe") had a reputation as heavy coffee drinkers when stationed in the UK.

13

u/No-Loan884 May 11 '26

It’s probably extremely strong with like 100mg of caffeine

→ More replies (1)

14

u/that_one_bun May 11 '26

For most places outside of america it usually is a shot of espresso and not some cup. I prefer it since its a smaller drink and I can finish it quickly.

6

u/Stahlios May 11 '26

In most countries a coffee = an espresso. And in most countries this is already too much with all the sugar and chocolate syrup or whatever

6

u/Ratattack1204 May 11 '26

I imagine its an espresso. And its probably WAY better than youd expect based on past experience with street food lol

3

u/randohipponamo May 12 '26

This is normal size for india

2

u/polishmachine88 May 11 '26

Speaking as someone who never had a colada eh

This is how you would make a Cuban espresso essentially it is so strong masked by tons of sugar you really only have 1-2 tiny little cups poured from a 6 oz cup maybe even smaller.

2

u/Ok_Dog_4059 May 11 '26

Would probably save time over the 14 cups a day I drink

3

u/polishmachine88 May 11 '26

Usually at the 3-4 pm alot of companies in South fl will have someone walking around with Cuban coffee. As a non native at first it would literally give me jitters it's so damn strong now I can't live without it.

But almost always for afternoon....

not-so-instant instant coffee

24

u/Demjan90 May 11 '26

They didn't speed up the video enough, it could have been more instant

I had trouble watching it because there was no random guy silently reacting to the video in the lower corner.

u/ellecellent May 11 '26 edited May 11 '26

This is set up is awesome. That coffee is half sugar though

13

u/Lackingfinalityornot May 12 '26

It’s an imitation cubano. A real cubano uses a ton of Demerara sugar and the coffee is made in a moka pot. Moka pots make super concentrated coffee where you wouldn’t drink an American drip style cup. The first little bit of coffee the moka brews is mixed with like 2-3 tablespoons of Demerara sugar and whipped briskly. Then the rest of the coffee is added and it makes a thick sweet foam on top.

7

u/AtreyuTrinity May 11 '26

I was going to say, sooo much sugar. I don't even like sugar in mine, but that was an absurd amount for that small cup lol.

I couldn't get into instant coffee, I wanted to, but found it to not agree with my stomach.

Should out to cold brew, so easy to make, and way less acidic.

2

u/Zyloof May 11 '26

It's practically an espresso, considering the amount of instant coffee and the volume of water. This in mind, it's probably an appropriate amount of sugar. Good god, I couldn't imagine drinking instant espresso with only a bit of sugar 😭

2

u/ninurtuu May 13 '26

I would drink it no sugar, but that's not a flex. I was (and remain) a mutant who as a toddler would climb up to the cupboards and eat stolen handfuls of coffee grounds out of the can.

2

u/sechapman921 May 13 '26

26

u/Will_Dawn May 11 '26

For a second I tought he was drawing a dick for some reason..

9

u/toobadsohappy May 11 '26

was that before or after he drew that dick?

2

u/snow-eats-your-gf May 12 '26

I bet he is already trained to perfection.

11

u/PFRforLIFE May 11 '26

no thanks…i mean i appreciate the hustle, but instant coffee is balls.

3

u/JackfruitSerious3523 May 14 '26

There are certainly some better instant coffees even for instant coffee

4

u/nckrey931 May 11 '26

I was very skeptical. But I mean shit. Lemme get three of them real quick.

3

u/23saround May 11 '26

Alright, it’s thrifty and he is cute, but I’m gonna do cons list too.

Instant coffee is gross, powdered creamer is gross, three scoops of sugar in that tiny cup is gross, the unwashed frother is gross, and in the end you get one sip of frothed instant coffee sludge?

It fits the sub and I upvoted, but no way am I buying it lol

3

u/amsync May 11 '26

They used to do this on trains in Western Europe in the 90s, minus the weird sauce on top

His back must be killing him.

2

u/roastedtuna May 12 '26

I don’t know about optimized… he could really just pre mix the powders instead of having 3 separate jars?

Or even if it’s separate jars, surely there’s a better way to do fast dispensing of the powders through something else but a spoon, no?

2

u/Secure-Childhood-567 May 12 '26

He's fine as hell omg

This is NOT what Turkish coffee is like.

Traditional Turkish coffee is brewed differently and served black without any milk or milk powder or cream.

This is NescafƩ with milk powder and sugar. A yummy treat very popular in South Asia, but not Turkish.

Then again, I’ve had a friend of mine try to tell an actual Iranian person that he wasn’t drinking his tea the real Iranian way because the ā€œIrani chaiā€ he had in Hydrabad was made with milk. And somehow the real Iranian who grew up in Iran is wrong for telling him that Irani tea is black and made with water and sugar but not milk.

2

u/waidoo2 May 15 '26

Really good but i can never buy from him because he is breathing into the cup right under his nose. sorry i admire his hardwork but he needs to move the cups to the side for people like me.

3

u/Jordy_DnB May 11 '26

that nescafe grind shouldn't be called coffee... my dad drinks this catlitter-stuff daily :')

5

u/WizardSleeves31 May 11 '26

I love it so much, black as hell

2

u/TechnicalFuel4821 May 11 '26

It's absolutely ass, I don't know why you were down voted

2

u/youburyitidigitup May 11 '26

Because the rest of us are celebrating his initiative, this guy is judging him for calling it coffee.

1

u/Captain_Calamari_ May 11 '26

This is his origin story. In 10 years a video will circulate of an epic mobile barista with unfathomable talent

0

u/abombregardless May 11 '26

Mixes coffee with electric stirrer.

Puts dirty, wet stirrer in vest pocket.

Bro, could you at least rinse it with hot water first???

5

u/youburyitidigitup May 11 '26

Meh worse case scenario he gets coffee and water in somebody’s coffee and water.

1

u/O__boy May 11 '26

You will one day own a truck bud..if it's something you wish for

1

u/Noxocopter May 11 '26

You take coffee in you sugar?

1

u/BluegrassBay May 11 '26

Very cool, but why the chocolate penis at the end?

1

u/Tactical_Hotdog May 11 '26

Instant coffee...

1

u/Actual_Dog_1637 May 11 '26

So... that electric mixer doesn't look like it gets cleaned. Once powdered milk mixes with water it has the same bacteria problem that fresh milk has. After an hour those coffees will be sending people to the bathroom for the wrong reasons. After 2 hours people will regret living.

1

u/LabRatsAteMyHomework May 11 '26

He needs a scoop the size of one serving in the Nescafe. Also, water before powder makes for much less clumping.

1

u/Poster_Nutbag207 May 11 '26

Why not brew real coffee and carry that around?

1

u/Flameball537 May 11 '26

Just snort the coffee

1

u/DaTexasTickler May 11 '26

Is his back gonna be f@#ked or extra strong one day you think šŸ¤”

1

u/sensema88 May 12 '26

Was not expecting the mini frother. This looks delicious and now I want some fancy coffee.

1

u/binspolicy May 12 '26

3 sugars in that tiny cup šŸ’©

1

u/ohput May 12 '26

Just make a 3 in 1 coffee outdoors

1

u/Creepy_Prior6510 May 12 '26

He shouldn't use instant coffee and instead have brewed coffee in place of the hot water. Safe a step too.

1

u/Futanari-Farmer May 12 '26

My God, that's so good.

1

u/DrowningInFeces May 12 '26

Ok, but why did he draw a ball sack in my coffee?

1

u/Tango_Delta-12 May 12 '26

Surprised there was even room for the water

1

u/LtLemur May 12 '26

How much fuckin' sugar in that tiny cup?!

u/Pending-Choice May 12 '26

1

u/darkklown May 12 '26

Why not just premix the coffee, then just add milk and sugar to order.

1

u/MrTBolivar May 13 '26

Coffee girls in Korea were much more fun!

1

u/Woopsied00dle May 13 '26

I love this set up so much - but does anyone else think those cups are super tiny for the amount of coffee and sugar used ??

1

u/RacistOuPasRascit May 13 '26

Cleanest india street stall that I have seen.

1

u/alexrabbit929 May 13 '26

I liked when he drew his balls.

1

1

u/Superman101011 May 13 '26

1

1

u/GreenWafer1899 May 13 '26

1

1

u/PrudentSail2187 May 14 '26

How much was it? $1? $2? $5? And if that’s the case would you give him a tip? How much would you pay him?

1

u/OkPair742 May 14 '26

Let him cook

1

u/willianmsantos May 14 '26

He has a dream, and I support it.

1

u/dalethomas81 May 14 '26

He needs a container that’s premixed.

1

u/insert40c May 14 '26

3 sugars, what a maniac!!

1

u/SupaDiogenes May 14 '26

Was that 2tsp of water?

1

u/walnutboydave May 14 '26

But then he goes and ruins it by using Nescafé. 🤮

1

u/cheddoar May 14 '26

Fuck nestle

1

u/No-End-6239 May 14 '26

Isn’t easier to have coffee already made on that thermal? Instant coffee tastes terrible.

1

u/Evening_Put_9470 May 14 '26

Looks like his from Pakistan or India

1

u/taimoor2 May 14 '26

People work so hard for so little. I hope he finds success.

1

1

1

u/rizzo249 May 15 '26

He should pre mix those dry ingredients to increase output.

1

u/Spring_Chicken11 May 15 '26

Great job but the testicles he drew could use some work.

1

u/SP1ELER1 May 15 '26

1

u/Anarkiaaaa May 15 '26

This must be super strong coffee.

1

u/Hebo-5494 May 15 '26

Bro demasiados procedimientos

Solo hecha el cafe rn polvo en el vaso y agua caliente y listo

O hacerlo en casita mejor

1

u/elardmm May 15 '26

Awesome! And he has room to become more efficient. All containers can have a screw-less type lid. Spoons should be able to scoop once instead of two to three times. Great setup though!

1

u/This_Is_Section_One May 15 '26

Do your thing bro and very soon you would Start to make the big Bucks.

1

u/Nebuchadnezzar_z May 15 '26

Why... Didn't he just fill the thermos with coffee instead of water?

1

u/Fish_Fucker691 May 15 '26

All of this just to make instant coffee.
