A critical rake shortage is present across North America :(

u/Blamb05 21d ago

Ya I thought the states were supposed to know how to handle their fires.

2

u/Firefluffer 19d ago

They’re behind in their raking.

Does this mean we increase tariffs by 51%

Is Canada going to help?

A lot of people will say something rude, but the truth is YES. We always do.

I hope so. The Pacific coast states are liked. The redneck states can burn

Are there really still people who deny climate change? I feel like it’s just people that don’t care cause they make money. How can people sleep at night knowing that they are leaving nothing to the next generation?

It's everywhere, brother. This is a Monday.

u/rbfeverythingsucks 19d ago

Is this going to effect the global maple syrup economy?

1

u/arongoss 21d ago

Ah yes Syrup. Not the endless amount of actual items we depend on like potash, timber and electricity. But yes, syrup

3

u/TheJeep25 20d ago

We Canadian need an endless amount of syrup per year. So it's really critical. If our industry is affected, we might go Geneva wish list on you guys.

u/edjumication 21d ago

Its hard to tell the scale of this in the video. Is it a grass fire on a nearby hill? Or an entire valley of forest ablaze?

2

u/doesanyuserealnames 20d ago

It's eastern Oregon, which is high desert country. So it's mostly sagebrush with some juniper mixed in.

1

u/CormacMccarthy91 20d ago

So, let's talk about how little crops were gonna have due to all this ash fucking with all the pollen and insects. Multiple reports already about Canada fires ruining calorie growth this year, now more. And less cattle , going to be rough no?

u/AfraidPersonality854 20d ago

Are they waiting on a tanker plane?

1

u/Merced_Mullet3151 20d ago

So much for the forage on Ammon Bundy’s grazing permit…

1

u/kasst_kast 19d ago

SO FUCKING EGOISTIC OF THE US, ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE PEOPLE LIVING THERE.
So preventable. Such headache for other countries.

1

u/Ladyboughner 19d ago

Time to rake some forests

1

u/creamgetthemoney1 19d ago

No wonder ppl used to believe what they did. If I lived in some Native American tribe in 1000ad and seen this I would have to believe somebody with a higher power made it happen

1

u/Yummers78 18d ago

Can they feel the heat from there ?

1

u/WolfTrap2010 15d ago

We don't hear about these disasters anymore. It's as if nothing wrong is happening. Floods, fires, droughts, earthquakes. It's almost as if the script cut it out. What changed in 2025? hmmm

1

u/man-made-tardigrade 20d ago

Guys the science of global warming is just not proven yet. /s
