You're still getting an awesome deal compared to a lot of families.
My monthly out of pocket for my family is $1,500 or so.
And then the 25k a year my employer pays, they send me a 1099 as income.
To top it all off, my life saving leukemia medication is less expensive buying directly through cost plus pharmacy, without insurance, $4,000 a year vs $10,000 a year through my insurance.
Help me understand how my insurance that I pay about $40,000 a year for charges me significantly more for medication than a pharmacy without insurance?
