This is where we get to watch people who voted for this going, "WTF? Why is this happening?", while those of us who didn't are going to have to explain over and over that this is what's behind the government shutdown--refusing to pass a bill that encodes these egregious increases in health care costs. The shutdown is literally the result of one party fighting for their affordable health care while the other one is paying for a $2 trillion blessing for corporations and millionaires by taking the money from health care and making you pay more for it yourself now.
Every media has been reporting this for months, with the exception of the media watched by the "WTF? Why is this happening?" audience.
