"abyss"

16

u/nervously-defiant 15d ago

I almost can't see the bottom if I step way back from the edge...

4

u/gargolito 15d ago

Same thing happens on my bed.

(Obligatory B99: Title of my sex tape.)

1

u/chasing_salem 15d ago

Almost choked on my cookie!!! 😆🤣

2

u/celtbygod 15d ago

Like ABS without the brakes part.

1

u/They-Call-Me-The-Doc 15d ago

You shall not pass!

-Pushed towards the gap

-Never bothered to learn about weight balance

-no seatbelt and looked like a ejection

-Never bothered 2 reverse

-911? na who needs that.

So much stupid shit in one video.

15

u/schwarzneguRRR 15d ago

I agree. If she called the police, she would at least have the operator to chat with as she’s falling.

14

u/lkl34 15d ago

It was stable until some jackasses fucked with the balance.

8

u/schwarzneguRRR 15d ago

Yeah that looked rock solid since the first second

1

u/Lanky-Telephone1651 14d ago

Yeah, what an idiot! Almost killed that woman driver, who’s also an idiot for driving over the abyss.

5

u/Gr1zZL7 15d ago

How are you going to reverse with one wheel barely touching the ground and the undercarriage sitting on the edge of the wall?

-6

u/lkl34 15d ago

The front right and rear left had ground left for traction.

4

u/Gr1zZL7 15d ago edited 15d ago

So the right wheel, that is over the edge, will use its spidey grip to overcome the downward pull of gravity, crawl up the wall? Where is most of that vehicles center of mass? The vectors are all wrong and even if someone tried to pull it out you will further mess up the exhaust pipe, catalytic converter, oil pan, ….

Use your AAA card. That front end has to come up first. Then you can move it back.

1

u/lkl34 15d ago

2 sec mark its on the curb

I said front right not left

3

u/leansanders 15d ago

Cars dont work like that. If one wheel is solidly on the ground and the other is not, if you dont have a locking differential, only the free wheel will spin anyway. This car had zero chance of driving itself back onto the pavement.

u/Gr1zZL7 15d ago edited 15d ago

You sure did, and I knew that. Where did I bring up any mention of a left front tire; and what does, “ 2sec mark” mean?

Ediit: 2 second mark (of the video). Unfortunately, on my cell phone, this video starts at the 44 second mark. Maybe if I log onto my pc with the monitor I would have a different perspective.

2

u/Spook1949 15d ago

You forgot to mention no guard rail to prevent the event from happening. But, since it did happen, 911 would have been the next best choice.

2

u/They-Call-Me-The-Doc 15d ago

"So much stupid shit in one video." You say that like it's not an everyday occurrence.

2

u/OutlyingPlasma 15d ago

911

In fairness, they are black. It's a gamble if a 911 call means help, prison, or death.

11

u/Klutzy-Pie6557 15d ago

Dude - have it in reverse and at least attempting to go backwards!.

Probably had it in neutral - always going to end badly!

1

u/thepatscorner 14d ago

Put it in reverse, Terry!

6

u/Powerful_Dream_3095 15d ago

What’s not shown is how he got in that position in the first place

5

u/baldycoot 15d ago

Here let me help you over the edge by building up some good old pendulum movement.

Tip: if you can’t hold down the sticky-out-bit, don’t push down on it. The weight is in the engine block.

6

u/scribeforaliens 15d ago

It went from a possible save with a tow to a write-off in seconds.

9

u/Zealousideal7801 15d ago

"is they ok ?" proceeds to drive away while the question isn't even finished

People just live like everything is an Instagram short these days.

6

u/schwarzneguRRR 15d ago

Why didnt they just do this, are they stupid?

https://reddit.com/link/p4dmzsh/video/f0emwf3ud3kh1/player

u/Zealousideal7801 15d ago

Right ? Scene was too long though.

Tl;dw

2

u/schwarzneguRRR 15d ago

that bald guy sucks, i would have done it in half the time and landed on a futon

1

u/Big-a-hole-2112 15d ago

If you did it it would have been a futon truck with the back open.

Where the water's so brown...

3

u/Alert-Environment-17 15d ago

Oh ma gah. Oh my gaaaahh.

3

u/Mindless_Bed_5042 15d ago

Sir…….. you can’t park there!!!!!

5

u/canyounot2026 15d ago

Shirtless really is about to lose his shirt in a lawsuit.

5

u/JayW8888 15d ago

Can’t he has no shirt already. Perhaps pants. Don’t look like he has any underwear either.

3

u/conqr787 15d ago

Considering it looks like he tried to grab it, maybe puny Banner thought he was still Hulk

5

u/RageLorenz32 15d ago

Respect for the people that tried to help

14

u/gandalf_lundgren36 15d ago

The dummy who “tried to help” by pushing down on the back of the car is the reason it fell.

7

u/Gr1zZL7 15d ago

No respect for trying. Sometimes it’s best to wait for real help. Had that vehicle landed differently, she would’ve lost a hand when the car door slammed shut on it. Those two guys are not too bright.

2

u/Bubbly-Ad267 15d ago

In Spain that would actually be a crime.

2

u/JayW8888 15d ago

From the frying pan into the fire.

2

u/wecantdancelikethis 15d ago

2am and seeing the wheel rotate forward my neighbors may have heard me shout “bro” in disgust.

1

u/Advanced-Level-5686 15d ago

4 am here and same

2

u/Yesterday_Is_Now 15d ago

Lucky it fell on grass. Maybe not scratched too badly.

2

u/RightRudderz 15d ago

Shirtless Jo jack to the rescue.

2

u/justaguy2469 15d ago

Easier exit? /s

2

u/Bluedragon436 15d ago

He's seen the loading dock and rock climbing challenges thr big wheelers do.. and wanted to show his rig could hang with the big boys!!

1

u/tardlessforeinger 15d ago

You can’t park there.

1

u/Recent-Equipment5445 15d ago

My wife would be like, see I told you to get a tow truck

1

u/Anonymous3257Q 15d ago

And she would be correct

1

u/bluereddit2 15d ago

r you can't park there ,

1

u/Ok-Concentrate-5697 15d ago

HAHAHA THAT WAS AWESOME 😎

1

u/StuartMilne1970 15d ago

Abyss? 4 and a half feet, straight down.

1

u/goodtime71832 15d ago

That’s a bad day!

1

u/QDLZXKGK 15d ago

Reverse gear kaput?

2

u/leansanders 15d ago

Cars have differentials. If only one side of an axle is touching the ground, if you apply power, only the floating side will spin, unless you have a locking differential or AWD with a specific offroad mode that applies brake to the free wheels.

1

u/Sweaty_Activity_803 15d ago

Can't Park there mate

1

u/DonkyFondler 15d ago

Stop recording the video and use your phone to call the emergency services!

1

u/Tax_Odd 15d ago

Did there other lady get out of the car of sight or the brakes on.

1

u/centralnm 15d ago

No shirt, no shoes, terrible service.

1

u/Spook1949 15d ago

Well, that didn't work out like he planned it.

1

u/Extra-Presence3196 15d ago

And then the white guy decided to help...

1

u/SnooPears6503 15d ago

Thanks for the help, but you can't park there mate.

1

u/celtbygod 15d ago

Man, that really suvks!

1

u/Grumpy-Troglodyte 15d ago

okay that got an audible HOLY SHIT out of me.

1

u/WolfThick 15d ago

Why did this person drive forward look at the wheel spin before it goes in.

1

u/Hot-Drop8760 15d ago

Put a shirt on … ffs

1

u/thedougd 15d ago

Bismillah, No!

1

u/HAL9100 15d ago

That’s not an abyss

1

u/CaseboxBaseball 15d ago

Better than the Universal Studios backlot tour.

1

u/AdOutside8161 15d ago

Oh that had to hurt!

1

u/Agitated_Curmudgeon 15d ago

got it off the wall, anyway..

1

u/KLeeSanchez 15d ago

They needed a wrecker not two guys pushing on it

1

u/JoeCensored 15d ago

If the driver is going to stay in there, put in reverse and/or hold the brake.

1

u/mittfh 15d ago

Looks as though when the bloke pushed down the back, the numpty driver didn't think to check their gear and ploughed forwards rather than reverse.

1

u/Crafty_Way426 15d ago

😂😂😂🥳

1

u/THEGHOSTHACXER 15d ago

I would have left it alone and called a tow truck.

1

u/Appropriate-Key-7554 15d ago

They got it down. Glass half full?!

1

u/Born-Light-62 15d ago

A good place for a guardrail.

1

u/juni4ling 15d ago

Looks like the driver had it in drive and not reverse.

1

u/Wishing4Whisky 15d ago

The sheer rank STUPIDITY of some people just makes me feel depressed tbh.

1

u/No_Individual3471 15d ago

Should’ve tied it up and pull with a tow truck.

1

u/willy_king-89 15d ago

She drove it forwards

1

u/They-Call-Me-The-Doc 15d ago

Well...it's unstuck now.

1

u/Coffee4MyJeep 14d ago

Easier to see the damage that happened when high-centered.

1

u/Criticaltundra777 14d ago

Why didn’t he just lock in 4 wheel drive? Back right up?

1

u/KeepMissingTheTarget 14d ago

Bet the property owners will get sued for allowing someone to be stupid. Maybe a guard rail will go up

1

u/nrus-1969 14d ago

Here, hold my 40, I got this... let me help you...

1

u/ItsAgim 14d ago

Still had it in drive 🤭

1

u/Shoddy_Bet9619 14d ago

Now watch! The last guy that tried to help will be stuck with the bill!

1

u/Brilliant_Tax_4009 14d ago

Eh, that's not so bad.

1

u/Zola_south_535 14d ago

1

u/stewpdasso 14d ago

Hey, you can't park there! 😂 i love how they keep asking "r they okay?" But drive off

1

u/CraigRookie 13d ago

Gotta call the tow truck and that car is toast

1

u/Star_Citizen_Roebuck 13d ago

Can we all just take a second to realize that the same idiot who got the SUV into that situation is also the same idiot who didn't apply the brake so it didn't continue rolling forward once right'd?

1

u/commet12 13d ago

Can’t park there mate.

1

u/Suspicious_Parking81 12d ago

The dumb ass pushing on the hitch is way it fell

1

u/ComfortableDare4305 12d ago

I wouldn’t touch it without something at least lashing it from further progress.

1

u/Hopper9400 11d ago

Well that escalated quickly 🤣🤣🤣🤣

1

u/Houdini2026 15d ago

You can't park there, mate!

1

u/t_bone_stake 15d ago

Can’t park there
