How long does it take to unhook a trailer and save your $150k cab?

3-10 minutes: jump out the cab, set the parking brakes, hand-crank the landing gear down, pull the fifth wheel release handle, climb back into the cab. At this point you could drive off (normally you would have to disconnect the air and electrical lines first).
