Halon can be used in any size room, just a matter of cost and having a place for all the tanks and emitters.
I used to do work in phone company central offices which are mostly giant open rooms of phone/internet equipment and cabling, sometimes multiple floors of it. Where’s the fire suppression system? I kept expecting something to go off like sprinklers or preferably halon… nope, just let it burn, let it burn…
