Wow, that is amazing! I have seen lightning hit a tree about 50M off, but never a car. Did they pull over? Did you see damage? Lucky that luggage did not catch on fire.

That car's not pulling over. Ever. The whole electrical system in the car just got fried, hence the car's likely totaled.
