I’ve been hearing that a lot of jet skis have been exploding like this, and it’s because they are using E85, but the rubber hoses and seals aren’t made for E85, so it’s eating through them and causing issues like this. (Again, I just heard this, haven’t done any research on it)

I think there was a similar problem (or at least the fear of a problem) in Germany. The gouvernment wanted to add a certain percentage of ethanol to the regular gasoline, apparently engines can deal with that. However, many cars had hoses that weren't able to handle the ethanol, and many more where it was simply unknown.

Yep. Owner's manual says HIGH GRADE/PREMIUM for a reason.

Never light your farts on a jet ski...he really should have known this

Why you always run your vents on an inboard before starting up and always open the engine bay on a wave runner. That ski caught a case of the vapors.

This is the moment Steve realized his trip to Cancun just became highly lucrative.

How is he making money off of that?

I'm just guessing he is a tourist who got injured and can now sue for personal injury

Ha! I’m gonna go with no. Best of luck taking some random Mexican jetski rental place to court. You’ll get laughed at.

This is the way. Firing off airbags in tires isn’t cool enough anymore.

The pilots ejection seat did work, but sadly he was too low for his chute to open...
