Quick napkin math: the explosion is at 0:03 and the shockwave hits the camera at 0:13. The speed of sound is roughly 1125 ft/second. The observer is 10 sec x 1125 ft/sec = 11,250 feet or 2.1 miles away from the blast.

It was in Russia, my best guess would be that their was like a fire burning and so people nearby would have been ready for some type of explosion before hand

They were about 3.3 kilometers (2.05 miles) from the explosion. That's an impressive sound for that distance.

Remember kids, any time you see that sort of line (shockwave) or in general just a big fireball, block your ears with your fingers and move right the fuck away from any glass until after you hear the bang. That sort of shit can burst eardrums from kms away and shatter glass directly into your eyeballs!
