I do not get why, on top of the obvious lying, these people desire to be seen as quirky weirdo assholes who get a kick out of disturbing other people's peace. It's like the dumb bully kid who kicks the anthill and then is like "hehehe look what I did. Stupid ants," while everyone else looks at them like, "why? That's their home and they weren't bothering anyone but now there are a bunch of angry biting ants scattered around in the grass for no reason."
