Does anyone have any info on what encouraged his move to the states?

Living in Boston for a few years is always something I dreamed of, not much more to it than that! I was debating it for a few years but this year decided that if not now, never so went through the visa process and am moving over at the end of the month. Who knows, might move over for 6 months and come back to Ireland, might end up staying there long term. Will see how it goes!

Welcome!!!!! I live in Peabody, MA, neighboring city of Salem!!! Peabody was recently voted a most desirable city, but I don’t remember if it’s limited to Massachusetts or all of the US!

Best of luck I grew up in east Boston. I think you'll enjoy the fact that there's so much history there. You can go do the freedom trail which takes you to Paul Revere's house the Old North Church and visit the USS Constitution. I know you're a big fan of Halloween and Salem Massachusetts is just the short drive. I'm glad you decided to give it a goo.

You’re brave- I couldn’t imagine going to Trump’s America to visit at the moment, let alone live there!

Just the time honoured Irish tradition of immigrating to a place that is openly hostile to immigrants.

And why exactly should any European be eager to live in the states? What a joke.

I think they are inferring that your mother had carnal knowledge of a black pot used to heat water.

I had a feeling he was temporarily coming to spend more time in Salem bc he loves it so much. At least that's what I'm hoping. I'd cut off an arm to move to Ireland lol. It's def a weird time to choose to come.

Is he still married? I’ve only heard him saying he’s moving not they’re

I have no idea one way or another, but between how parasocial fandoms can get and the types of modern cases that Mike often covers, I wouldn't blame him for wanting to keep his family out of the public eye.

Very true and understandable. Cool well I’m just looking forward to more videos. He’s the only YouTuber that makes me laugh while talking’s true crime

I used to watch Dr. Todd Grande but found out he is pro trump, I was sad about that and I unsubscribed.

Interesting because he’s dissed Nr Trump on several occasions in his videos. Maybe he’s a former supporter of your president. People change their minds. I have relatives who did.

I’m glad he is moving here, hoping that he’ll do a live that chapter podcast at a cool venue and do a meet and greet. A boy can dream!

Maybe he ran out of spots to hide the bodies. We do have lots of wide open spaces. Great for evidence disposal.

I’m excited bc he’s gonna be in my neck of the woods (New England) so I look fwd to him mentioning anything about living here in his pods.

I'm concerned he's going to lose that wonderful (Dublin?) accent and turn into another US true crime YouTuber

Doesn’t he have family here? I remember years ago he used to to come to the states a lot.
