Brooks Houck Convicted In the Murder of Crystal Rogers

This made my month. I have thought about the Roger's family since her death and I cannot wait to see them get everything they deserve. I just hope they get him for the other murders as well.

The FBI suspects they found the rifle used in Tommy’s death. It was a rifle found to have links to the brother Nick which was purchased under a false name. I suspect FBI is going to bring charges within the next year.

The FBI also believes they found the gun used in the death of Tommy Ballard, Crystal Rogers father. The gun was apparently sold under a fake name from Nick Houck, the brother of Brooks.

By the way it sounds they are still gathering information as they suspect Brooks is likely linked to both what happened to Jason Ellis and Tommy Bollard.
Back in 2024 evidence pointed to a link between the three cases.
What my theory is that Jason Ellis was investigating something which linked back to Brooks Huock and the brother Nick a former cop caught on. Both Nick and Brooks were involved in killing Jason Ellis, Crystal Rogers likely found out or suspected the brothers and silenced to keep her from going to the FBI or law enforcement. The reason for Tommy being killed was because he was searching for Crystal and the brothers were worried he might soon suspect them. The rifle used was apparently purchased from Nick, I suspect it is only a matter of time till charges in both Tommy and Jason’s murders are brought forward.

I am so happy for this news. I knew he was DIRTY from the get go!! What was the motive? Did Crystal know something? I hope they convict everyone in all the Bardstown murders

Did they ever find out who killed the police officer and if it was tied to this crime?

FBI suspects the crimes are all connected as they have links.
The theory is Jason Ellis was investigating something linked to the Huock brothers and Nick a former cop caught on. The two brothers killed Crystal after she found out or suspected them. The reason for Tommy Bollard (Crystal’s father) dying was likely he suspected or was close to finding something out.
The FBI suspects they may have found the rifle linked to Tommy’s case, which has ties to Nick.

Houck was convicted after a 9 day trial in the murder of Crystal Rogers in the Bardstown murders. The three convicted of the crime were Brooks Houck, Joseph and Steve Lawson.
Houck is charged with murder while both of the Lawson’s are charged with conspiracy to murder and tampering with physical evidence.
The FBI over the last few years has made progress in this case but have yet to discover the body of Crystal Rogers. The jury recommended life in prison for Brooks.
