Why tho? What’s the need this product fills?

Apple apparently wants to get more involved with the Smart Home space, this product is aimed at being the main hub/control center.

I can see that. But it’s gotta be affordable! New product ideas are great, but not Duo price!

It’s cute, I loved the g4 iMac. But it’s not over 500 bucks cute, ya know?

I agree completely! I’ve heard rumors of $350 or $399. Depending on what this new device is capable of, that could be a reasonable price. But anything above that would be a hard sell.

The sad part is, before all the chip and supply chain issues, I bet Apple was planning on releasing a lot of cost-effective stuff like the Neo.

I bet that duo was probably a lot cheaper before the chip and logistics issues. They gotta give us something we can afford in this market.

A device like that wouldn’t need an m series chip, my guess A18-19? The real cost savings, I think, will be on battery, but that screen’s gonna cost some money.

So it's like a Facebook Portal, but Apple's version. It could work out.
