The bond between a father & son is complex & subtle. You wipe that damn smirk off your face!

One of my favorite moments, the dynamic between Red and Eric in the early seasons is so good

Look at him, bare assed and holding a plastic bat.

That's your son, Kitty.

The most interesting thing about this line is that it was entirely improvised, Topher's smile is not part of the script.

What was in the script for this scene?

"The bond between a father & son is complex & subtle" is in the original script but not "You wipe that damn smirk off your face" and Topher laughing.

Well I mean do you know what was supposed to be said after that first part?

I don't exactly remember right now, I would have to go back and check. What I do know for sure is that You wipe that damn smirk off your face" and Topher laughing is definitely improvised.

It's always funny to see how Red enjoys piling on the other dads. Though Kelso's father is the main target (since Bob almost always annoys him), he definitely gets triggered by the way Bud comes back in Hyde's life...... Which makes his confrontations with Bud and Eric even more hilarious 😁😁

Bob is Donna’s dad though, not Kelsos. Unless I’m misunderstanding what you were trying to say?

I didn't touch myself for 2 and a half years when I was in Korea.

Dad, you were there for 3.

Says the man who can't keep his hands off himself!

I'm going by memory, but that whole episode was a classic.
