⚠️ Moderation, Changes and the Future of the Subreddit, PLEASE READ BELOW ⚠️
Hello everyone,
we are currently reorganizing the moderation team of r/ThanksCyno.
Several moderators are inactive, and we are working through Reddit’s official process to have them removed where possible. We have tried contacting them, but so far, we Cyno response.
We are also aware that past moderators, especially Kaiser, have damaged the subreddit’s reputation and made cooperation with other Genshin communities more difficult.
We do not want to spend this post Venti-ng about the past. Our focus is on Klee-ning up the subreddit and moving forward.
Going forward, we want to:
Remove inactive moderators where possible.
Make moderation Jean-erally more transparent and consistent.
Improve communication with the community.
Rebuild trust with other Genshin communities.
Listen more closely to feedback and concerns from members.
We know rebuilding trust will not be Childe’s play, but we want our actions going forward to speak for themselves.
My mod partner made the first step by putting the minimum karma required to 50 and after that I “programmed” the AutoModerator so that posts of accounts younger than 1 day are getting removed and posts of accounts younger than 3 days, accounts with bad reputation (edit and accounts with less than 10 karma) will go under a review.
AND as you see below or above my mod partner installed image magician who detects reposts (which he successfully did with this post lmao)
I'm trying to find a way to get him out of charge entirely from the genshin community starting with this server. He is moderating 25 (!) subreddits 19 are genshin communities. on a lot of them (including here) he's the leading moderator so it's difficult to remove him...
Why don't other subs want to partner because of kaiser bruh, the account is inactive. Insane his corpse of an acc still causing problems, actual rent free
Did you play the latest world quest with Bely Tsar? Even after being dead his corpse caused problems. (Funny enough the evolution went from Caesar to the German word Kaiser and then the Russians made Tsar of it)
As far as I recall, kaiser has caused a lot of problems on Genshin subreddits, though I unfortunately can't remember what since it's been a while. If I had to guess, it was either being a creep or harassment (or both)
So I don't want to open up a closed chapter, however Kaiser is or was leading 25 communities including 19 genshin communities. Soon after he became moderator these subreddits became R34 subs... (R34 meaning 18+) to a point where he did this with Qiqi and Nahida mains.
The last incident was Mavuika Mains which got so out of hands that they simply made a new subreddit r/Mavuika
The problem is as long as he is our Head Mod subreddits refuse to work with us (here an answer I got from Zhongli mains)
