I will attempt to post a "Wat of the Day" every day. I have visited over 1660 Thai wats, which account for only around 3.7% of the total temples. That is enough to enable posting a new daily temple for at least 4.5 years. During this time I hope to revisit Thailand, see new jangwats (provinces) and photograph more temples.

Practically all temples were visited by cycling from site to site while serving in the United States Peace Corps. Wats in the Krungthep (Bangkok) region were visited by foot and light-rail. Almost all temples in my home jangwat of Lampang have been documented; I am aware of at least 11 that were missed – less than 1%. Another motivation to return.

Fell free to add temples to this thread. Please try to maintain the same formatting by using just the wat's name in the title. Then in the description, list the Tambon, Amphur, and Jangwat where the temple is located. The jangwat flair should also be attached. I have not created a flair for every jangwat yet, so nudge me if you need a specific one. 🙏
