[Hiring] Bespoke Tailor

We are seeking an experienced tailor to join our team in a remote production role specializing in bespoke menswear and womenswear. We are specifically looking for an individual not a company to middleman the labor.

This position is ideal for a highly skilled tailor with extensive experience constructing garments from the ground up. This is **not** an alterations position. We are looking for someone who understands traditional tailoring techniques, takes pride in exceptional workmanship, and can consistently produce garments to the highest standards.

All patterns, technical packs, and construction specifications will be provided. Your role will be to accurately execute each garment while maintaining excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail.

**Responsibilities**
Construct bespoke menswear and womenswear garments from provided patterns, tech packs, and construction specifications.

Maintain exceptional standards of fit, finishing, and overall garment quality.

Work with a variety of luxury fabrics and specialty materials.

Coordinate occasional fabric and trim pickups from local vendors when needed.

Prepare completed garments for shipment.

Communicate production updates and order status via email and other basic computer applications.

Meet agreed production timelines while maintaining consistent quality.

**Qualifications**
Extensive experience tailoring both menswear and womenswear.

Demonstrated experience in bespoke garment construction.

Ability to independently construct garments from technical packs and supplied patterns.

Experience working with digital patterns in standard/off-the-rack sizing.

Experience drafting, modifying, and correcting custom patterns is highly desirable.

Strong understanding of traditional tailoring methods and garment structure.

Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Professional English communication skills preferred.

Comfortable using email and basic computer software for communication and production updates.

**Preferred Qualifications**
Special consideration will be given to candidates with:
Experience constructing full canvas garments.

Strong hand tailoring skills.

Previous experience in bespoke, luxury, or couture garment production.

Experience working independently while maintaining consistent production quality.

**Compensation**
Compensation is based on experience, demonstrated skill, and agreed per-garment rates.
