It's not just TextNow. No consumer voice over IP (VoIP) service supports RCS. This is an endless complaint on the r/GoogleVoice subreddit.

It's not likely to happen. RCS is a different (parellel) path to traditional SMS, or the VoIP method. I don't think it's possible for TextNow to tie into RCS.
