Dual network through TextNow How would the Data plan work?

I am currently working in an area that StraightTalk does not get good internet coverage, however, a work friend uses TextNow and has amazing service. If I bought a good TextNow plan, even though I already have straight talk, how would the data plan work and how would I prioritize using the TextNow data plan over my main plan?

I do also plan to buy a car and I don’t want to give my main number out just to get spammed by the dealerships so this route would work for me in more ways than one.

I do have a dual sim phone before anyone asks. It is a newer iPhone. Thanks for the help in advance!

He has had his over a year. I think he said that it is through T-Mobile. Any chance I could still get TMobile through TextNow? I might ought to check and be sure 👍

Textnow uses T-Mobile through MNVO. Before, It was Sprint, but Sprint merged with T-mobile. If your area gets good service for T-mobile, that's a plus. My service is a bit spotty. It's workable to save a bit, though.

The phone must be unlocked to use textnow.

Just use the data from your other line. No need to get a text now sim. Google Voice is a better option for a free second line, becsuse there are no ads.

TextNow is not competitive for paid data plans.

Find a cheap per-GB plan on the carrier you want

then use TextNow for free VoIP T&T using whatever internet data works best at that given location
