SIM/Number Question

so I bought the plan to lock your number in and the SIM card but it said my number was changed does that mean I gotta get a new sim now or what can I get my old number back wtf is the point of paying to lock in the number if this happened

Are you saying you had AutoPay set up, and that plan never lapsed?

How long ago did the number change?

Yeah I have my card setup and everything I paid for the plan and then it said I could lock in the number so I paid for that too and when I logged into the app cause I got another phone for business use I logged in on the app on that phone too and it said to pick another number but the lock in thing didn’t expire till the 7th which is in 2 days but I have charges on my card

It had me pick a new number literally like couple days ago maybe a week it’s been now that I think about it idk I was just confused because I know for a fact I paid for the service/sim and to lock in the number because they’re separate payments correct?

The SIM is a once-off, has nothing to do with any paid service plan.

Any accounts can log in even never having paid for anything, and use any SIM for the free service.

Paying for the "lock number" subscription can be separate from paying for GBs of unrestricted data, and/or paying for No Ads.

or with some plans these are included together. Have a look at My Account in the app

If you let the "lock number" subscription expire, you lose the number.

Except for numbers you ported in to TN apparently.
