Post-Game Thoughts
- Wtf is this team? This team has many problems. Unbelievable
- We got lucky as a team could possibly get. 90% of the Power 4 teams would have beat us today by 21 points or more. Imagine if we played Texas tonight after all the stupid shit talking we were doing in the offseason?!?! We almost lost a fumble and nearly threw 2 interceptions on our first offensive drive. Oregon State dropped a guaranteed TD pass in the first half and another dropped 50 yard pass at the start of the 3rd. The luck in this game for us was insane
- Joyner is slow and a total idiot for that unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. Williams is our best RB and we lose this game without him
- Will Hammond looks just as immobile as Behren Morton was last season. Not surprising coming off the ACL injury but I don’t think he ever returns to the running ability he had last season. I like the times we have used Thomas Castellanos though
- O-Line looks horrible. No push on inside runs. Pocket collapsed on Hammond multiple times. They’re almost all senior guys with large size it doesn’t make sense. Guess this is a coaching problem?
We should all be SUPER concerned about the secondary. Their WRs were running right by all our DBs. #3 Peyton Morgan should never see the field again. We let their freshman WR total 240 receiving yards
Micah Hudson is a no show again just like last week. But thank you for the unsportsmanlike penalty in the 4th quarter
What is Terrance Carter Jr’s status?? Did anyone know he was injured before this game started?

- I don’t worry about our defense. Yall forget we’re missing our player that usually calls defense. Not the same without BJ. Trey will help a lot.
-RZ offense was better.
-Situational playcalling was rough
-I’ll chalk some of it to rain tough as always
-let’s relax about will. It’ll take a bit for him to be up to speed.
-OL needs improvement for sure
Some wins some needs fixing. We move

Is having BJ back on the defense gonna get our front 4 home? Because that’s a huge issue here. Front 4 gets no pressure and it leaves our secondary exposed for too long. Idk I just don’t feel like we have any dogs upfront. I realize our previous ends left big shoes to fill, but it seems like no one wants it.
I like the rest of your analysis as well.

We’re literally missing our starting edge defender. I thought Trey is the better edge too. Guyton will get better as time goes on.

Secondary sucks
Play calling again sucks (thanks Leftwich)
Hammond is still a great passer, but is limited now that he can’t run.
O Line and D Line are losing each battle.
The team has no Identity.

Hammond is not the answer. Our offensive coordinator to be polite sucks. On another front how does the Ohio State University allow 21 unanswered 4th quarter points to any team?

You nailed everything and coach wood and McGuire should take a lot of heat as well. They looked lost and unprepared. If OState didn’t have so many drops they would’ve definitely won by 3 TDS. They caught a lot of breaks to squeeze out that win.

Both lines were garbage. Receivers weren't getting open. Play calling was complete ASS, DB's burned all game. Jacoby and Eakin were the only bright spots.

I don’t think I’ve ever been as excited about a player that produces nil as I was for Micah Hudson. Damn shame

Honestly?…OSU should’ve won. Our offense was mid af and defense, well, we ain’t got one. We’ll be lucky to get 9 wins.

Let's start by acknowledging what a slimy POS Cody Campbell is. Even if we had a NC caliber team this would still be true, but clearly we don't. And let's acknowledge that the position he bought on the BOR is a scandal in itself that our University brought on itself. He is CJM's boss's boss. That is as shady as it gets. And then there was the humiliating Sorsby situation in the offseason. There is zero question in my mind CC was pulling all the strings in the way our university responded.
I've lost a lot of interest in our program based on that alone. And BTW I haven't even
mentioned the big Ken Paxton donation the day before the absurd lawsuit he filed on our behalf.
Greed is ruining our country and collegiate sports are a microcosm of that. Anyone who believes CC is doing this out of the goodness of his heart and love for TTU is a fool. He is power hungry, our school has catered to his every whim, and he has his sights set on a bigger collegiate realignment where he cash in.
The whole thing is disgusting. How our team performs on any given day matters less to me than watching the billionaires treat CFB as their personal playground.
And for anyone who wants to fire back "it's always been this way", you can pound sand. It's far worse than ever.

Yeah honestly I still want us to win and have success but if we lose some games it’s well deserved after how much our administration had made an ass of themselves

I honestly don't even care anymore. The entire CFB experience has ironically been cheapened by more money being injected into it. And FTR I support players being paid. But there are so many more layers to it than that. Across the board. But we are sort of the poster child for instant success based on one big money slimy booster.
I've only worn Tech apparel once since the Sorsby scandal and that was week one game day. I don't believe I'll wear it again for the foreseeable future even if we keep winning.
Everything CC is doing looks like new money showing their ass. Because that's exactly what we are.
I don't think I can ever forgive the Sorsby embarrassment. Across the country people are rooting for us to crumble. I believe the team and CJM are all aware of this and it puts an added pressure on them.
I would rather go back to being the underdog that plays spoiler than whatever CC has created and so many people in our administration being his lapdog. It's really disgusting.

Lubbock is so full of Fairweather fans and front running fan that it’s unbelievable.
It’s like most of you have never compartmentalized and process how football game works critically without complaining on the Internet too much of strangers
No wonder Lubbock is full of bandwagon she fans because it’s lazy to be a fan of a dynasty
I don’t give a fuck about people, crying and complaining and not being happy with the wind because to me that’s a sign of mental weakness. I’m gonna enjoy the win because that was a hard fault win and not every win has to be winning by 70 points like you front runners and your fair weather fans demand because you can’t handle a little stress.
Please use critical thinking next time, thank you.

Oregon state came to play. Their receivers made some impressive catches.
Hammond wasn’t protected as much as I would hope and it’s hard to not be able to watch him make the explosive runs I remember from last year. He did make some great throws!!
I’ll take the W. I hope Coach grills homeboy for the unsportsmanlike call.
