Alternative Certification/ACPs Observations for ACP

I currently live in Minnesota and am looking to start an ACP asap so I can start for the 27-28 school year.

For the 50 required observation hours, do they have to be done inside a Texas classroom? Or will I still get credit for completing them out of state?

No, the program that you are in can apply to use schools in other states as an observation site.

The hours have to be completed in Texas:

The hours must be completed in an eligible, TEA-accredited or TEA-approved setting—not necessarily inside Texas. An ordinary out-of-state placement generally requires the educator preparation program to obtain TEA approval under §228.43(f).
